The San Diego checked in tonight with an update from Seaforth Sportfishing in Mission Bay. Today we had 26 anglers catch 130 Yellowtail (limits). The Yellowtail were kelp grade. We did see the big Bluefin today but we were unable to hook any!

Capt Ryan Bostain called in from the San Diego the 3/4 day boat out of Seaforth Sportfishing, he said the last couple days were offshore and the fishing was on the slow side. But the good news is that they are back on the fish today, they just called in and said they have over 100 Yellowfin Tuna on the deck so far. We are fishing in US waters, so if you come down bring your California fishing license with you. We are fishing everyday looking for Bluefin, Yellowfin, Yellowtail and Dorado, the boat leaves everyday at 5:30 am and returns at 5 pm. Bring your flyline, popper and jig gear with you and come on out and have some fun.

Managed 4 nice Bluefin and Yellowfin in a less than ideal sea state today

Captain Mike Pritchard called in last night from the Tribute. We wrapped up our 1.5 day trip. We fished out West. We had 56 Bluefin Tuna (38 pounds), 52 Yellowfin Tuna, 38 Yellowtail, and other assorted fish. We have another 1.5 day trip that departs on Monday night. We started in the rain, loading passengers and loading bait. Now we're full steam rolling down in nice weather. There is reports of bad weather down below but we're traveling the correct direction for it not to effect us. We hope this trip is in perfect time with the perfect weather. We'll most likely start the trip off with an afternoon of yellowtail fishing before we decide on where we're going from there.

Shortly after arriving on the grounds we located a small school of yellowtail and caught 2. We then proceeded to drive around for 2 hours and never found another school. A couple of rockfish stops in the afternoon assured all 30 of our passengers will be eating fresh fish.

Today we had a great day of Wahoo fishing. The Wahoo were big and very eager when we got on them. The only thing that stopped the bite was the sun going down. Hopefully we can pick up right where we left off tomorrow. Capt Ryan Bostian checked in from the San Diego with a trip wrap up for their 41 anglers to report that they caught 135 Yellowtail at the Coronado Islands. They were biting on the flylined sardines and the surface jigs, we also a few on the yoyo jigs, pretty good fishing today. We will be back at it again tomorrow, get down here and get in on this hot action.
