Captain Ryan Bostian called in late last night with an update from The San Diego out of Seaforth Landing in Mission Bay! We had 101 Yellowtail for 53 anglers. We also saw a couple nice spots of Bluefin Tuna. Right now we are not allowed to catch Bluefin Tuna in Mexico so we will continue to focus on Yellowtail for the meantime. Hopefully, the Bluefin issue will be resolved soon.

Polaris Supreme Trip Report 07-11-2016 Good evening folks, Polaris Supreme checking in. We started our day in the same area where we had phenomenal yellowtail fishing yesterday. The bait was there, the birds were there and the current was there, but for some reason the yellowtail were not. We did manage to pick away at a couple yellowtail, but we just couldn't get the ball rolling. After accepting the fact that the yellowtail pulled a no-show, we decided to make our way offshore in hopes of better things. And indeed better things we found! We spotted a big beautiful kelp patty that had a jumbo school of large hungry yellowtail beneath it. It was a day saver! These fish were biting the fly line and yo-yo jigs. We also saw a couple nice Dorado on the kelp but they did not like our offerings. We are now making way back up north to another area where we will be finishing off our trip by fishing for those larger size yellowtail once again. Also, sorry for the lack of pictures today. Hello everyone, Today was spent traveling up. A great ride to end a great trip filled with a variety of fish. We would like to thank Billy Stephens for putting together such a great charter! 100 grand, 77 inches of rain and enough acetone in our blood to kill an elephant. We are finally done. This Saturday March 16 we start fishing. We will be fishing the Coronado Islands targeting yellowtail and falling back on ground fish if needed. Bring your passports and please make reservations at 619-224-3383. We are scheduled 7 days a week.

2 stop shopping in perfect fall weather. Limits of Yellowfin, 15 Mahi Mahi and 56 Yellowtail.

Mike Pritchard called in with this report for the Tribute. "We had a very nice day on the water, we picked up 42 Bluefin. We do have 1 hang'n. Very, very good sign of tuna here today. We have very good scores and there is still plenty of daylight left. We'll keep you posted."

The San Diego checked in on March 16, with 25 yellowtail, 6 bonito and  100 rockfish catches.  Yo yo jigs have been the top producer so far but every school has boiled on our chum.Encouraging sign of fish for 1/2 the day today. Couple decent shots on all the popular presentations. We will try again tomorrow.

Awesome fishing once again with a bite that lasted for 6 hours producing 31 Yellowfin 18-40 pounds and 26 Bluefin 50-80 pounds. Happy Thanksgiving!
