Hey there everyone the Voyager has a 2.5 day San Martin/ offshore trip coming up with a few extra spots open. The cost is $550 this includes all the bells and whistles. Hello everyone, Today was spent traveling up. A great ride to end a great trip filled with a variety of fish. We would like to thank Billy Stephens for putting together such a great charter! Hi friends. A lack of bigger fish was the main culprit for our day. Hard to not be spoiled with the previous two days but our weather was very pleasant and that smaller fish (12-22 lbs.) got on us, so out Tuesday was not lost. We did manage a handful of those bigger YFT's and BFT's and we'll be on the final leg of our hunt tomorrow. Oh yeah, today was also just a fine day to eat food. Sushi Schooler and Sushi Shawn kicked out some sushi, beautifully seared bluefin, yellowfin poki, and all the goods to go along with it. Not bad for a couple of round-eyes. Anyhow, Polaris Supreme and like I said, our weather was awesome and it's looking to repeat itself tomorrow. Hopefully --fishing wise-- we can repeat Sunday and Monday. Check back tomorrow and we'll hopefully finish this trip off with bang. Peace be with you, and also with you.

Oh yeah. Before I go, we're going to be giving you a brand new segment to our daily reports. It might not happen everyday but chances are it's going to happen on the reg. The new segment is called "Reasons We Make Mark Clark Wear A Hard Hat". If you've been following our reports, you'll know that last trip, we caught a big yellow hard hat and without hesitation, promptly gave it to our beloved deckhand, Mark, to wear for the duration of his career on the boat. So, without further delay, here is how our new installation will go.

Reasons We Make Clark Mark Wear A Hard Hat.

Reason #1:
When fishing for squid, all one must do is drop the squid jig down, bounce it a little bit, raising the rod up and slowly dropping it back down while keeping the line tight. When you get a bite, the squid latches onto the jig with its tentacles and all you have to do is wind it up. That's all. But last night, history was made. While fishing side-by-each with Mark --Drew and I witnessed this with our bare eyes and still can't stop reliving this gem-- the jig was no more than five feet below the surface and as Mark was jigging, the strike came. A squid was just about to latch on to the end of the jig and all of a sudden, something we've never seen before happened. Mark set the hook. He set the hook! And I don't mean like, he gave it a little tug. He set this thing like he was Jimmy freaking Houston at the Bassmaster Classic. If we were kite fishing, we would've shown this hookset as a perfect example of how to set a hook once your kite baits have been eaten by a two hundred pound tuna. Thankfully, no one was hurt as the jig and sinker went flying into the side of the house at Mach 2, and we now have a brand new little blog baby to share with the world wide web. We hope you enjoy. Seems the Yellowtail are in spawn mode. We found multiple kelps with enough Yellows on them for limits for this boat and another, if they would have wanted to bite! IF! We managed to find an area with schools of Bluefin that were not very user friendly, lost one. One Yellowtail fell for a live sardine and that was our day. Some days luck is on your side, other days it's just not. But that's fishin for ya. 

Good morning everyone, Today we tried for bear, we were going big or going bust! We had our sights set on these big Bluefin Tuna. The tuna were very particular on what they ate. If you were persistent with a nice lively bait over and over all day long you had a chance at a bite. Bites were few and far between but when if you got picked up it was a big one. We had two bites today and one of them bit our charter master Vernon Burkes bait. He was prepared and ready with the right gear, the right persistence mindset, and capitalized on his opportunity with a large Bluefin Tuna! Today it was nice to have a chance at these fish but we are going to try inshore tomorrow for yellowtail. Wish us luck! Team Supreme

Today was a tough day. The fish were there and the conditions were good, the fish were just less eager. Everyone was on the right program when it came to hustling the fish in to avoid the sharks. Polaris Supreme Trip Update 11-17-2019 Great day fishing today on the yellowfin tuna. Over half the fish were 25 to 35 pounds. We also picked up quite a few Wahoo in the mix as well as one beautiful grouper. Definitely a fun day all away around. Our weather was absolutely beautiful except for about a four hour window mid day where the wind picked up pretty good and we got some rain. Otherwise a great day! Doing this again tomorrow. The Polaris supreme crew!
