Good Morning Everyone, Today we had great Dorado fishing! Lots of small grade Yellowtail and Tuna as well. Not Seeing much in the way of Wahoo, even though the conditions look great. Hoping we find those Wahoo tomorrow, Team Supreme

We departed today on Don Fischbeck's annual 5-day charter, but without our charter head Don! Don we will miss you at the rail but we will bring some fish home for you. Don't be working too hard! Today the reports off shore are slow but there is some action at a few of the islands. So we loaded up with some good looking bait and are hoping for a possitive change for the albacore. Pedro is in the galley getting ready for dinner tonight which is going to be grilled tenderloin of beef with a red wine sauce. So we will update again tomorrow. Thanks for checking in. Something a little bit different for the first day of our 2 day charter. 26 Yellowtail so far with a few fat ones this morning up to 30 pounds and some Calicos to go with it.

After two trips in a row without seeing yellowtail. This morning we were pleasantly surprised when we located a nice school first thing in the morning. After a hectic 10 minute drift with our 48 anglers we had four 13-19 pound yellowtail on the deck. All four of our yellows were taken on yo-yo jigs. The rest of our trip was spent catching whitefish and rockfish with a few sheephead mixed in. Our afternoon yellowtail hunt came up empty. Fish Count = 4 yellowtail 14 sheephead 1 lingcod 215 whitefish 107 rockfish.

Captain Ryan checked in tonight to report in. We had 40 passengers on a private charter catch 136 yellowtail 174 calico bass. Very good action all day.

Big Bluefin on the Brain! Were able to scoop up some big Flying Fish on our way up the line! These flyers will be the perfect size bait for the local giant Bluefin Tuna. Recently the hot ticket has been: Heavy Flat falls in the dark, frozen Flying Fish on the kite, and trolling the Yummee flyer. We individually wrap our flying fish in saran wrap so they do not stick together when we freeze them. These ones are ready and on stand by for the big ones!

Captain Ryan Bostian called in this morning. We are operating 3/4 day trips everyday out of Seaforth Landing. The fishing at the Coronado Islands have been good for Yellowtail. We have also seen Wahoo at the Islands. A passport is required for all reservations for fishing at the Coronado Islands. Mike Pritchard called in to give this report for the Tribute. "We're on day 2 of a 4 day charter trip with a light load of guys. It is just an 8 man charter. We're having very good fishing. We started off fishing for Bluefin yesterday, with a little bit of Rockfishing in the afternoon. We also caught a couple of nice Lingcod up to 28 lbs. We made a move about 100 miles down the beach and got into some really good Yellowtail fishing, 35 to 40 lb. yellowtail. The best techniques have been fly-lined fish, yo-yo jigs and surface irons. Just very fun fishing. We're going to spend the rest of the day down here and go offshore tomorrow. We'll target some yellowfin tuna and keep you updated.
