Hello Everyone, Today we made our way up the line looking for Yellowtail. Water was cold in most places and conditions were not favorable. We did manage to land one for the day. The wind is picking up and it is getting choppy. We will continue working our way up the line. Will report again tomorrow, Team Supreme

Happy Easter! I have decided to put some ultra limited load open party trips together for fishing the northern Channel Islands this weekend. I have set up two trips on Saturday and Sunday the 10th and 11th of April. I anticipate trying to find sea bass in the morning and falling back on rock fish and ling cod for the rest of the day. These trips will be limited to only 20 people max!! This just seems to me to be such a great opportunity to get out to the islands on such a nice boat without having to deal with a crowd. The trips will depart from Sea Landing in Santa Barbara at 9pm Friday and Saturday night. The cost will be $175 per person. Please come join me and the crew aboard the Apollo next weekend. Today we spent our final day offshore. We had a few hours to try for some kelp patty Tuna and Dorado. We tried multiple kelp's for nothing. However we did have one kelp patty that was an absolute aquarium. It was wide open for the smaller yellowfin tuna. It was incredible action to end on. We also caught a few bonus Dorado as well. A fantastic Finnish to a five day trip.

Again we have beautiful weather. Today we had our fishing tackle seminar and just kept traveling. Dinner was lobster and fillet, and some really exquisite sushi and sashimi for appetizers.

Started where we have been catching Vermillions to find they were not in the mood. Moved to an undisclosed location and found very willing XL size Lingcod. Managed 2 to the boat and lost a few more. Good fun!!!

 Whenever you end well it makes you feel like you had a good day. When you start well and end slow you get that "it wasn't a good day" feel to it. Today we started slow and finished strong. We had a good day. We looked at a lot of fish this morning but only one would bite. We had one fish well after lunch. We then found an area that for some reason the fish we found wanted to bite. We found one school that produced 18 of those 30-45 pounders and one school that bit through the sunset for 13 bluefin with one of those going 65 pounds more or less. So we ended our day with 32 beautiful bluefin tuna and we're going to do this again tomorrow for our last day.

 We developed quite the south swell today from that category 5 hurricane down below. It's amazing what some wind thousands of miles away can do to the ocean right here. It's ground swell with no wind on it so we barely feel it come under the boat but it's impressive to watch. Surf"s up.

Mike Pritchard called i with this report for the Tribute. "Very good fishing here once again. Limits of Yellowtail, 18 mixed tuna with a sprinkling of Skipjack to go with it. The weather is really nice & we are looking around for some more Bluefin.

We had great marlin fishing all morning long. Midday we went in search of wahoo but had no luck. While the weather was good this morning it turn rough this afternoon. Dinner tonight was a delicious salmon steak.
