Ran into some phenomenal grade (30-50 lbs) ahi. A long drift accounted for 39 tuna and 44 yellowtail (10-18 lbs)

Polaris Supreme Trip Report 09-25-2019 We got off on a nice early start on Joe Becks annual eight day trip. We have 24 happy smiling anglers excited to get at it and throw some fish on board. The bait we picked up at the receivers to complement what we already have on board looks good (although small) . Our weather is great the wind we have is out of the south which is not normal but it's good going. Have you ever heard of the term it popped up overnight? It happens in the desert around Thanksgiving for the four wheeling off-road enthusiasts. You see it happen in the desert with the snowbirds in the fall time were huge motor home and trailer communities pop up. It happens at Coachella and Burning man. And yes it happens on the Polaris supreme too. Last night there was no sign of them. But this morning there's a full blown rod forest on the back deck! The boys are enthusiastic to say the least. Polaris Supreme Trip Report 08-05-2016 We finished up the trip nicely yesterday with great yellowtail and tuna fishing down below. It was pretty darn good! Unfortunately we have to travel all day today to get back to San Diego. As luck would have it though we have excellent weather traveling home! Thank you Henry Hampton for putting together another fun group of folks for four days of fishing. We will be in tomorrow morning at 6 AM to unload our catch and pick up a limited load of 20 passengers on Dan Ravta's annual five day trip! Hello Everyone, Today we fished for trophy Yellowtail and Wahoo. The yellows were biting good but most were able to get int the rocks, or get eaten by waiting sharks. We did manage to land some trophy Yellowtail as well as a single large Grouper. There were less sharks later in the evening so we were able to land more Yellows at night. There was very little Wahoo sign as we were driving around, we did manage to troll up one. We stopped fishing around midnight and started traveling up. We will see if we have time to fish tomorrow or the following day, depending on the speed we are making. Will Report again tomorrow , Team Supreme

Good morning Everyone, Our annual Heil charter has come, the longest running charter on Polaris Supreme. We are very happy top welcome aboard this group of anglers. Ron Heil has been keeping his father's charter going for years with a good core group of anglers. We are exited to have these guys aboard as well as some new faces. Spirits are high, and we're all very hopeful for the next 5 days. Team Supreme

Capt Mike Pritchard called in from the Tribute with a fantastic on the water report for today, so far we have limits of some really nice grade Dorado and a couple Yellowtail. The Dorado were in mid to high 20 lb range, we then started searching for tuna and decided to put out some Wahoo jigs and we did manage to get a couple nice 50 lb plus Wahoo for out efforts. Offshore kelping today was tough. Not a whole lot of action. Plenty of kelps with not much on them at times, and areas of water with no kelps in it. We had one kelp mid afternoon where we had some action on shaker size yellows up to 20 pounders and a kelp in the morning with a handful of dorado on it. We'll be at Cedros in the early morning trying to get a tank or two of bait and begin our day yellowtail fishing.

The Voyager returned this morning with 13 Bluefin Tuna and 5 Yellowfin Tuna. They landed a couple of monster Bluefin, with the largest weighing in at 298 pounds! Congratulations to Captain Todd and the passengers and crew of the Voyager.
