21 anglers on the boat and have 22 Bluefin on the deck. Majority of fish are 60-80 pound range. A couple are smaller and bigger.

Plenty of room on tonights trip. Good Bluefin fishing today!

Good fishing in the morning with 70 to 100 pound fish. Most again were released. Late in the day we got lucky with two more big fish. Young Gunnar got another one over 200, and Charlie got one right at 200. Just a great trip with George Davis and his group, and an awesome crew. We will be into the Cape tomorrow to drop off the passengers to fly home and be at Fisherman's Landing on Wednesday.

This is amazing we have fished 6 days out of 6 days. We fished 4 days in California and 2 days in Mexico and caught over half a dozen different game species. We wrapped up today in California fishing Bluefin and Yellowfin with good success. The top 3 fish at the scales will be bluefin. Thanks Tom Chaparro and gang for a great trip. Sunday June 22 - Excellent, excellent yellowtail fishing again today. No signs of any black sea bass. We are enjoying absolutely fantastic weather. And everyone is having a great time. Thanks, Tommy and crew

Capt Mike Pritchard on the Tribute just called in from their 1.5 day trip sponsored by Okuma/Savage Gear, fishing was great. Lingcod was not quite as good as before, we ended up with 56 for the trip and limits of rockfish along with some sheephead and whitefish. The weather was the nicest he has seen and made it hard to get some good drifts in. Sep. 19

We didn't start fishing today till around 2:00 in the afternoon. Before that we traveled up in very cool dirty looking fishless water as we expected. Everyone slept in and chilled out while the crew did some maintenence on the boat and did some repairs on monday details. After the boat was in tip top shape we ate fish tacos and got ready to fish. We didn't find any wide open yellowtail fishing but we scrached out an afternoon. We caught 3 a round on mostly good grade yellowtails with a few cows mixed in. 35 pounders is about what they were. So we're traveling up now in good weather to the yellowfin/dorado grounds. We could use a top off on some yellowfin and we can use some more dorado and then we'll have most of a day to fish for the bluefin before we head for home.
