Polaris Supreme Trip Report 10-20-2019 The Polaris Supreme arrived nice and early yesterday with the AHI Charter unloading a beautiful catch from down south plenty of Wahoo beautiful grade Tuna and Dorado! We were able to get out nice and early on our eight day open party trip with a fun group of regulars. Our traveling down was good yesterday as well as it is today. Of course the usual seminar on tackle and technique with a lot of rigging napping and eating some good food is going down today. Because of our early departure and making good speed we should be into the fishing grounds at a good hour tomorrow. Things sound a little scratchy at the moment but it looks like it has good potential for improvement. That's all for now we will check in with you tomorrow after hopefully a good day of fishing. In addition to the great Wahoo fishing last trip JJ was able to sneak a whole skipjack down below then to pull out this nice Grouper! Hell ya JJ!

23 yellowtail 94 assorted rockfish and limits of reds. Bob “Dart” Fletcher getting in on the fun winter time action.

12 Bluefin and 21 Yellowtail for our Angler’s yesterday. Bluefin were a “legit” 40-65 pounds on average with plenty of them lost.

Hello there Polaris Supreme fans,
                                             Today was another travel day for us, this morning we had or seminar on fishing for giant YFT.  The crew went over fly lining, big bait , jig fishing, sinker rig, and kite fishing. We also handed out all the loaner gear and the guys started rigging up. Around 1600 we made a drive by the Rocks and found two 25 lb YFT willing to bite the jigs now we have fresh tuna for tomorrow nights dinner! Speaking of dinner its about time for me to go get ready for dinner so until tomorrow tight lines!!

Captain Ryan Bostian called in with an audio update from the San Diego out of Seaforth Sportfishing in Mission Bay. We have been fishing offshore for about a month now. Just recently we are seeing the fish starting to bite full speed. Today we have a rent rod charter with 100+ Yellowfin Tuna. Be sure to bring your 25 pound outfits and a 40 or 50 too. When the bite really good go heavier.

22 pass. 9 bluefin tuna from 50-100 lbs. A 50 lb setup with a 1/0 circle hook and a 4-6 oz torpedo sinker above the hook was the hot ticket. We also hooked a few fish on 200 gram Shimano flatfalls.

Hello Everyone, Today we had another awesome day of fishing. A huge variety of species including Yellowtail, Grouper, Wahoo, Yellowfin Tuna, Pargo, and Dorado. The Pargo we caught were off a school that was breezing on the surface. An incredible sight that was amazing to see. A patch of water was literally red with Pargo. We only caught a handful, hopefully we will be able to figure out how to catch them next time. Slightly breezy but nice on the anchor. Will Report again tomorrow, Team Supreme
