Polaris Supreme Trip Report 08-13-2016 We had another fun day today! Today was a little different though most of the fun was catching fish not traveling. We had very good yellowtail fishing all day, we started off right at the crack of dawn with flurry fishing which progressed into a wide-open bite for several hours and then flurry fishing again! After a midday low it all started up again through the rest of the day. We were catching fish mostly on bait. Fly lighting was number one with dropper loop fishing coming in a close second. We didn't have a lot of jig fish but that probably was contributed to the fact that we didn't have anyone fishing jigs most of the time. Weather is excellent and were hoping to do this again tomorrow. Thanks for tuning in the Polaris Supreme Team!

Plenty of stops on breezing, foaming, jumping, tuna. Colt Snipers and flylined bait on 25 lb. 16 yellowfin tuna, 14 bonito tuna, 1 mahi, mahi, mahi, mahi, mahi.

Hi friends. We made a morning of a steady yellowtail pick but it was pretty much a one shot deal. We picked and scratched for a couple of stops after our initial morning deal but it was pretty apparent to us that greener pastures lie somewhere else. About mid-morning time, we began motoring on south to see if we can't set ourselves up for some tuna and wahoo tomorrow. We enjoyed hot, windless traveling weather and many of our anglers and crew took the opportunity to get their bronze on and let me tell you, it was good bronzing today. Anyhow, we're getting some rest in anticipation for tomorrow. Wish us luck and we'll keep you updated on our progress.

Hello everyone, Today we had another nice day of yellowtail fishing. We got a good morning jump on these guys and put quite a few on the boat right off the bat. There has been some tuna schools roaming around this area as well, we picked off a few mixed in with the yellowtail. However when we went out to try and find them we only had a couple jig strikes and skip jack breezers. That about wraps up our Seeker/Sadie Hawkins 3 day charter. Good evening folks, Polaris Supreme checking in. We had a fantastic day of yellowtail fishing! These larger size the yellowtail where biting everything from the dropper-loop and fly-line baits too yo-yo and surface iron jigs. It was definitely not a hard and get bit, unlike the last couple weeks. Many times throughout the day we had yellowtail boiling around the boat! We also caught a nice white seabass during one of the yellowtail flurries! Overall, it was a terrific day of fishing! We are now anchored up in an area where we have a great chance of catching white seabass, halibut and yellowtail throughout the night and early morning. Tomorrow, we will be spending our time in the same area in the hopes of duplicating the success we had today! Thanks for reading, Team Supreme

Polaris Supreme Trip Update 11-19-2019 Well fishing was pretty darn good today! Just not for us. Our passengers are pretty well fixed up on yellowfin tuna, some people just kept Five or six and Released the rest and some people kept 14 over the last four days. So we decided to go look for Dorado and Wahoo on kelp patties. And let me tell you it didn't work out! As close as we got was one dead turtle with one single Dorado swimming around it. The boat we left behind, where we were fishing tuna in the morning ended up having a phenomenal day before we got back there late in the afternoon. That's how I know it was good fishing! We had good weather today looking but it didn't help a whole lot. Tomorrow we going to go spend about four hours looking for yellowtail to wind up the trip. Our efforts on the Dorado was just in the wrong direction. One boat found an excellent school 40 miles to the northwest of us on a dead seal. Another boat had beautiful bull Dorado fishing 60 miles to the southeast of us today. It just wasn't meant to be for us! So off we go! we will report from the yellowtail grounds tomorrow. We are dragging our feet behind the storm here we don't want to drive up into it. Our weather has been good to excellent the whole trip. The Polaris Supreme Crew!
