wilson Fishing Report 2025

Capt Mike Pitchard called in an on the water report for their overnight trip, fishing has been very goos. We have about 60 mixed fish, with a really good Yellowtail bite now and a few nice ones in the mix. We also have a handful of Yellowfin and Bluefin Tuna, we are starting to run short on time but still fishing. Hopefully we can get a few more before we are done, we are leaving on a 1.5 day trip tonight. Hope everyone is having a great 4th of July.

Today was slow fishing for Wahoo. We only landed a couple. Not many bites and some were eaten by sharks. The conditions were rough and we were rolling around pretty good. We did have a shot at some large Yellowtail. They were deep in some treacherous country. For those who buttoned down their drags and pulled with all their might were able to tear a few from the rocks. A small victory on a otherwise slow day. Tomorrow we will still be pursuing Wahoo, but will be in good country for Tuna and Yellowtail as well.

Aug 18

Today was a good day. We got into the yellowtail mid morning and it was game on till lunch time. The grade wasn't the best but it was good enough. 12 up to 22 pounds and all in between. We had the passengers save some tags for the bigguns though the common grounds looked dead so we traveled to new grounds and connected near the end of the day. Everyone had a few more shots at them before we had them wind um up so we could put ourselves in position to be at the bluefin grounds before daylight.

The weather today was great. Cold but windless and on a boat thats all we care about. No wind no sea. Shawn through out a kick but appetizer spread and we're preparing to eat a seared ahi dinner. Can't wait. Gotta go.

Mama Bear- Little Bear still has both feet planted on the boat and is doing great.

Hello everyone, Today was spent traveling up. A great ride to end a great trip filled with a variety of fish. We would like to thank Billy Stephens for putting together such a great charter! Captain Ryan Bostian called in with a Coronado Island Report from the San Diego out of Seaforth Landing. Today we had 24 anglers catching 92 Yellowtail (up to 30 pounds). Yesterday we only had 14. But they rebounded good today they were biting really good. We are a go tomorrow! The fish were mainly in the 15 pound class. They are biting very well on the surface iron but we did catch fish on live bait too. Call Seaforth at (619) 224-3383 to get in on the action.

Polaris Supreme Trip Update 09-27-2019 AM Gust waiting to get to the fishing grounds! Standing By!

Hello there Polaris Supreme fans,
                                             Today was another travel day for us, this morning we had or seminar on fishing for giant YFT.  The crew went over fly lining, big bait , jig fishing, sinker rig, and kite fishing. We also handed out all the loaner gear and the guys started rigging up. Around 1600 we made a drive by the Rocks and found two 25 lb YFT willing to bite the jigs now we have fresh tuna for tomorrow nights dinner! Speaking of dinner its about time for me to go get ready for dinner so until tomorrow tight lines!!
