what a day! we hit bamfield this mornin’ and the sun was shining bright, perfect for fishing. temps around 19° so it was super comfy. we were using some pink hoochies and they were ON FIRE! caught a couple of nice cohos, about 8 lbs each, and lost a big one right at the boat, ugh! the water was calm too, barely any wind, just made the whole experience unreal. stayed out til sunset, which was just beautiful. can't wait to go back!
