yesterday’s fishing was a washout! heavy rain most of the day, but i gave it a shot anyway. caught nothing but soaked gear. wind was a beast too! didn’t see anyone else out there, haha totally not the best conditions. hoping for better luck next trip!
today was pretty good on the lake, it was a bit cloudy but warmer! I managed to hook a couple of nice 3lb trout. used a silver spoon and it worked wonders! caught them near the drop-offs, love that thrill of the fight! pretty stoked for the rest of the season!
went fishing on Osoyoos lake today & it was even colder than last time, like 8 degrees! didn’t catch much, just one tiny bass. I think they’re just waiting for the warm weather. but i can’t help but enjoy the scenery, even when the fishing’s slow!
was out at Osoyoos today, but man it was cold! had my hoodie on all day. only managed to catch a little perch on a nightcrawler. the wind picked up too, made it tough to cast. still, i love being by the water, can't complain too much!
hit the lake again today but it was super overcast. ended up with a couple smallies around 1.5lbs, but it was really slow overall. tried a few different lures but they just weren't biting. still nice to be out tho, just need that sun back!
