Scripps Ranch Old Pros charter. 42 anglers killed 400 beers, 3 yellowtail, 26 bonito, lots of shallow water rockfish. ‘‘Tis the season for mixed bag fishing and binge drinking in beautiful weather.

How we ended up with only one picture today with such good fishing this morning on yellowtail I don't know? The one picture of Ricky kinda tells it all though! We took off and look for bluefin all afternoon and saw plenty! No biters. Most of the fish was 50 to 150 pounds! We will be trying for yellowtail again tomorrow. Great weather, great fishing and a great group of passengers on Joe Beck and Mal Wagstaff's three day charter. Thanks for tuning in the Polaris supreme crew!

Polaris Supreme Trip Report 12-04-2018

It's amazing how calm and peaceful it has been at the island here the last couple days. Barely a breath of wind and just slick calm! Pretty cool watching the fish at color come up in this clean pristine blue water! The only way I can think to describe it is it's the color of a sky vodka bottle. Almost verging on a purple color. Excellent fishing today on 60 to110 pound tuna. After looking at today's pictures we may be judging the sizes on some of these fish a little low. Camping out and fishing another day tomorrow hoping to keep fish going all day like we did today. The Lady's are Killing IT!

The Polaris Supreme Crew!

Today we spent our day offshore looking for kelps. We had outstanding fishing on the smaller Yellowfin Tuna even though we released most of them.Our main target today was trying to find some Dorado, and a couple kelps had just what we needed. We ended up with with an action packed day of quality Dorado and small Yellowfin fishing. A great way to end the trip. full of action and a few bigger fish.

Hi everyone, We will be fishing the Channel Islands out of Santa Barbara this weekend and we have space on a open charter sponsored by Berkley. These are always fun trips to be a part of there will be give aways and swag. The trip will depart from Sea Landing at 9pm on Thursday night and fish Friday returning Friday evening. Hello everyone, Today we were traveling up the line and looking for kelps. We found one kelp that was loaded with Yellowfin Tuna and Dorado. It was as good as it gets, like an aquarium in the water. We fished until everyone was content with the number of fish they tagged. Fishing was so good they were eating the trolling lures bring dipped in the water. Very fun to say the least. We may have some time to fish tomorrow for a little bit depending on our speed. Will Report again tomorrow, Team Supreme
