tweed Fishing Report 2025

How we ended up with only one picture today with such good fishing this morning on yellowtail I don't know? The one picture of Ricky kinda tells it all though! We took off and look for bluefin all afternoon and saw plenty! No biters. Most of the fish was 50 to 150 pounds! We will be trying for yellowtail again tomorrow. Great weather, great fishing and a great group of passengers on Joe Beck and Mal Wagstaff's three day charter. Thanks for tuning in the Polaris supreme crew!

Hello Everyone, Another incredible night of fishing. Especially during the first half of the night. About half the fish were 20-40 lbs! awesome night fishing. During the day we had a few hits on Wahoo and another incredible Dorado Bite. Hoping for more Wahoo tomorrow. Wish us luck, Team Supreme

Polaris Supreme Trip Report 08-14-2016 We had another fun day today! We were all over the board looking for yellowfin tuna, yellowtail and halibut. I did send you one token yellowtail picture but truly I think we had the most fun fishing halibut today! The weather is absolutely beautiful maybe a little too hot. We will have a little bit of time to fish tomorrow on our way up the line wish us luck. The Polaris supreme crew

67 yellowtail. Managed to scratch some yellowtail in between hopscotching spots of Bluefin. We saw tuna from 20lbs to 200+ please come prepared.

We got a little bit of something throughout the whole day. Everywhere we went we got yellowtail, but no real bug hits. Our morning bite had great quality but not as many as yesterday. Our weather is still good because of the island. Tomorrow we will be in open water on patties looking for dorado, tuna and yellowtail. Great fresh yellowtail and shrimp scampi for dinner. Captain Ryan Bostian called in tonight with an update from the San Diego out of Seaforth Sportfishing in San Diego, CA. Today we had Mexican limits of Yellowtail for our 37 anglers. We have been fishing offshore and the fish are a fun grade. Please bring your 25 or 30 pound bait rod. You should also be prepared with a heavy rod for bigger Bluefin Tuna. We are starting to see them show up in the counts. Tomorrow's trip is cancelled but we will be back out it Tuesday.

The San Diego would like to thank everyone for a Great Year! We had very good fishing for a variety of species including: Yellowtail, Bluefin Tuna, Dorado, Yellowfin Tuna and more. We are hauling out tomorrow and will be doing maintenance for a couple weeks in the dry dock. We will then finish up at the dock at Seaforth. We will most likely run a few trips during Christmas Holiday and we anticipate being online next year for Winter Yellowtail fishing. Thanks again!!!!

Tuesday Dec 4 looks to be the best weather window for those folks looking to fish with us.  If yellowtail are unavailable we will target cod in 180-400 ft.  Before anyone freaks out, this picture was taken a long time ago and was on a Comercial boat fishing in legal US waters.  Come prepared for yellowtail and bottom fish.
