streaky bay Fishing Report 2025

Captian Ryan Bostian checked in this evening with an update form the San Diego out of Seaforth Sportfishing in Mission Bay, CA. Today we had 38 anglers catch 28 Yellowtail. The grounds were a little crowded today. Bring a yo-yo rod, a 20 or 25 lb. bait rod. If you are a surface iron fishermen there has been plenty of opportunities.

Another great day of fishing out here. We had 160 rockfish 7 lings and 137 whitefish for 16 guys on the Endeavor.

Today our 29 angler private charter endured a little choppy weather and landed 25 yellowfin and 4 bluefin. Pretty exciting times right now because we don’t know if we will see small bluefin, big bluefin, yellowtail or yellowfin. Come prepared and enjoy the show.

There are two school of fish out here today and we are catching the bigger models. We have 35 fish maybe up to 40 by now. Hello everyone, Today we had a much better day of fishing. We were able to piece together a nice day here for Wahoo, Yellowtail, Tuna, and Dorado. It took some work but the fish were coming aboard. Wow, absolutely phenomenal fishing on the wahoo today. We fished daybreak to dark in two main spots. Wahoo everywhere we went. Lures, bombs, bait and trolling all worked. The anglers had a fantastic time in nice calm weather. We will be checking out a couple spots tomorrow and have another full day to fish the wahoo. Today Jeff prepared wahoo enchiladas for lunch and he absolutely nailed it. They were sooo good. Wish us luck for tomorrow. Thanks, Tommy and crew

Hi friends. Today, a couple boats came out of their days looking like Kate Beckinsale and some boats came out looking like the love-child of Whoopi Goldberg and Gary Busey. I'd like to think we were somewhere in between. Anyhow, we caught a few handfuls of nice bluefin, a couple of nice yellowtail and one really nice dorado. It's just a matter of finding one that wants to stick with us and bite. Our weather is okay and we'll be giving it our all tomorrow. See ya.
