absolute peach of a day! sunny and warm, caught my first flathead! used a light tackle setup and thrived with the fish. loved every minute out there, can't wait for the next trip!
partly cloudy day at Hervey Bay, went for a chill fishin trip, ended up with a few trevally. nice n breezy, water was calm. caught em on live bait, nothing huge but satisfying to reel em in.
another rainy day at Maryborough, caught some cook's pet fish, but not much else. rain came down hard and wind was crazy too. didn’t expect much but ended up having a fun time just hanging out with mates.
yesterday was a bit of a wash, patchy rain made fishing tricky. we caught only a couple small ones but that’s how it goes. the wind was wild too, made it rough. still had fun but definitely looking for better weather.
headed out to Hervey Bay, got hit by some light rain but still managed to pull in 3 decent snapper. used my new jigging rod, super stoked about it. the wind picked up a bit later but overall a good day!
