Today was a bust for us in the yellowtail grounds. We arrived pre daylight and Tommy stopped on some yellows so we fished it in the dark and fished it in the light for nothing. We looked around after that and all the key ingredients were there. Bait life, bird life, and schools of yellowtails were all around but it wouldn't go. Just a handful of bites. After giving it a few hours to get with it for not a whole lot we decided not to hang out and burn a day doing it. We're on the move to the wahoo grounds. We're ready for them too. We did the wahoo seminar and everyone spent the afternoon rigging up wire leaders for the toothy fish. We'll be where we'll be at or soon after daylight and we're hoping for some wahoo action. If not wahoo let's hope we can get some action on the tuna,pargo and yellowtails. Let's also hope for low wind velocity. It was getting pretty windy this afternoon and it's currently traveling faster down then we are.

The fishing out of Seaforth Landing in San Diego is already great and is ready to explode as water conditions improve and temperatures increase. The new Seaforth Landing buildings and parking lot are almost ready to roll and things are looking really good!!! Congratulations to everyone at Seaforth !! Great Job !!! I was lucky enough to fish with Captains Bob Williams and Bryan Winn for a 3/4 day trip aboard the Seawatch to the beautiful Coronado Islands. We limited out on 3-6 pound bonito by 10am in wide open fishing not far off the coast. Captains Bob and Bryan than steered us to the Coronado Island for a shot at some big island yellowtail. Not long after dropping anchor yours truly hooked and landed a nice yellow on a dropped looped chovy. Way to go Kidd !! We hooked a bunch of yellows on sardines, anchovies and iron, landing some and loosing others to reel screaming runs to the rocks. The highlight came when young Chris "Don't call me Littleman anymore" Robinson hooked, battled and landed a nice 20 lb Coronado Island Yellowtail. Awesome job Chris !!! We ended the day with 10 nice yellows from 13- 28 lbs led by Mark Nahabedians' 28 pounder that he nailed on Salas blue and white iron. Captains Bob, Bryan and crew did an awesome kob putting us on the fish. We were the high count boat out of all the 3/4 day boats fishing the Islands. Great Job Guys !!! Today was a nice mixed day. The day started off with 3 Tuna hungry Grouper on the big gear! they wanted the rocks bad, but our anglers wanted them more! Later we were able to catch some Wahoo and bigger Dorado on Kelps. A well rounded quality day down south. We are looking forward to what tomorrow brings, Team Supreme

Captain Mike Pritchard checked in at 8:15 AM with an audio update from the Tribute out of Seaforth Sportfishing in San Diego, CA. We have been drifting since 6:30. We have 8 or 9 hanging right now. We have had a bunch of casualties due to old line or locked up drags. We have had some quality action so far today. Our next trip is a light load. Come on out fishing with us for trophy Bluefin Tuna.

4 yellowtail 129 calico bass 29 barracuda 4 sheepshead 26 whitefish. Another action packed day at the Coronado Islands.

27 pass. 16 yellowtail 127 kelp bass 34 barracuda 7 sheepshead 19 California Golden Tilefish. Perfect weather and plenty of bites.

Hello friends and a very happy Sunday to all of you back on the beach. We departed Fisherman's Landing around 14:00 hours today on the Joe Beck/Mal Wagstaff 6-day adventure with plenty of familiar faces and a few new ones to spice things up. Our stop at the bait receiver went a little bit better today and although it's not the best bait we've ever seen, it's a lot better than what we loaded up on Tuesday. At this point, we'll take it and we'll be keeping a close eye on their well-being throughout the night.

Other than that, we've been enjoying a nice ride out to the Bluefin grounds and our activities have been pretty standard for a departure day. Rigging tackle, napping, eating, seminars, and catching up with old friends and new ones alike. Chefs Schooler and Shawn just finished up the dinner serving of prime rib, baked potatoes, peas, and sorbet for dessert.With that being said, we're going to cash in for the evening and get ready for tomorrows fishing adventure to begin.

We'll be in the upper end of the Bluefin zone around mid-morning and the scores for the boats in the area were decent. It sounds like that 50-70 lb. BFT was biting a little bit and a few schools of 25-40 lb. fish were around too, so we'll see if we can't get ourselves some of that.

Not too much to report today but hopefully tomorrow is a different story. We'll be at it tomorrow morning and we'll report back to you tomorrow evening. Take care everyone and wish us lots of luck.

From 8:00 am till 4:00 pm we were either stopped on bluefin or driving towards jumping bluefin. When we pumped out the RSW we had 17 bluefin and 2 yellowtail. Flylined sardines on 25-40 lb with a size 2-2/0 bait hook was the top producer.
