friday Fishing Report 2025

Once again we weren't holding the lucky horse shoe in the tuna grounds today. We saw some fish in the morning but not a lot. Around lunch time up until after 6 we saw several schools that for us, wouldn't stick with the boat. Some of the boats found some that stuck which for a boat that didn't can be quite frustrating. We're going to stick it out here for our last day tomorrow. We have plenty of time tomorrow to locate biting fish and that's what we'll do. The weather was good today. A little windy late but the forecast for tomorrow looks great.

Good Evening Fisherman, We left the dock early this morning on our annual Holeman 10 day with a great load of mid-sized sardines and very nice weather. We are now making our way down south to the Tuna and Wahoo grounds. We should be arriving to the fishing grounds early Tuesday morning. The majority of the day, after leaving the bay, was spent getting to know everyone and rigging up. Tomorrow we will be giving our famous fishing seminar. There is plenty of leader making and general tackle rigging preparation for the fishing to come. Till Tomorrow, Team Supreme

Hey everybody the voyager has another 1 day shallow water mexican coast trip set up for this saturday. We will be keeping everything under 200 feet! The bass fishing has been very fun in the kelp, along with shallow water reds! And all the other critters to go with them! The live squid has been abundant so we hope to make that to fish with for the trip. The trip is limited load to 16 passengers so act quickly!!! We are already up to 11 as of this morning!! Tax evasion. Today had a slow start but really heated up after noon. It was more of the same when it came to the sharks, but the second half of the day we really got on these fish when we had the opportunity. Pulling hard the whole time and bringing in some nice fish through the sharks. Here we have Aiden with a great Tuna he was able to pull away from the tax man! (aka Shark) Way to get on him Aiden!

Captain Mike Pritchard called in to report 17 Yellowtail from our first kelp. We also had 2 Bluefin Tuna up to 65 pounds. We are seeing spots of Bluefin today and some other boats have scores up to 30 fish. The weather is fantastic. Stay tuned ...

Captain Ryan Bostian called with an update from the Offshore Grounds. We had 116 Yellowtail and 1 Dorado. It sounds like there is a nice body of fish moving into our area. We recommend using 30 pound test. September is the best month of the year to go fishing in San Diego!
