Polaris Supreme Trip Update 11-26-2019 We spent the day looking for Wahoo mostly, but ended up with only a handful. We had absolutely phenomenal Marlon fishing and some pretty fair Dorado fishing throughout the day. The Wahoo has definitely eluded us this trip. Another day of absolutely beautiful weather good food and hanging out with a bunch of good friends. I just noticed that the last two days we only had pictures of Rudy and John. Neither one have been fishing before so there definitely get the lions share of attention as far as photos. Today we mix it up with some of the other guys who have been hanging in the background. We're going to spend tomorrow heading up the line toward San Diego to try to be the Thanksgiving storm or at least part of it. We will definitely be in a day early and all of you leaving on the seven-day on the 30th be down there bright and early at 5 AM. We will be fueled loaded with groceries and ready to rock 'n roll right away. The Polaris Supreme Crew

Polaris Supreme Trip Report 07-29-2016 Hello good morning anglers. We are already fishing this morning and have four yellowtail to our credit. We have a nice current and are waiting for things to start happening. We left yesterday afternoon with Tom Chaparro's annual five day charter with a limited load of 18 anglers. It is really quite the joy to be able to fish with such a light load on the boat. Most of Tom's guys have been out with us before and are anxious to get at it. We had a nice prime rib dinner last night and Tom and the boys gave our friend Herb Yamanaka a custom-made Oregon Duck's colored raped rod as a thank you for his many years of creating wonderful wood working's in the form of bowls cups salt shakers you name it he made it from different exotic woods and has given them out every trip. I haven't gotten a picture of the rod yet but as soon as Herb catches a fish will make sure you see pictures of both. Thanks for tuning in Tommy and the crew.

Hello everyone, Today we had another nice day of yellowtail fishing. We got a good morning jump on these guys and put quite a few on the boat right off the bat. There has been some tuna schools roaming around this area as well, we picked off a few mixed in with the yellowtail. However when we went out to try and find them we only had a couple jig strikes and skip jack breezers. That about wraps up our Seeker/Sadie Hawkins 3 day charter. Labor day weekend caps off an excellent summer and also moves us into my favorite time of year. With water temperatures ranging from 70 to 74.5 this week was spent looking around offshore for kelp patties. On Wednesday we caught 82 yellowtail and a handfull of dorado. On Thursday we had a big day catching 108 yellowtail. Fridays fish count was 21 dorado and 16 yellowtail. Anybody who has spent any time at all fishing in San diego knows that September thru the end of November is a great time to fish. The kids are back in school , the weather is very nice and the exotics are in the area. With the Coronado islands still closed we will continue to fish offshore for yellowtail , dorado , bluefin tuna and albacore. This time of year the yellowfin tuna should show up sometime in the next few weeks. If your looking for lighter loads on the boats as well as the chance to catch an exotic fish. This is the best time of year. Captain Ryan Bostian.

We had a slow morning here at the Ridge, but the afternoon provided us with a good bite on the yellowtail up to 30 lbs. The weather is still absolutely beautiful. Those of you that know me, know I never eat breakfast, but I thought I would check it out as I am always reporting on the lunch and dinners. Well breakfast today was a stack of buttermilk pancakes, slab of honey cooked bacon and eggs cooked to your order. I still didn't eat, but the guys all said it was delicious. We have a couple more days here to fish and then we are in on Sunday and departing on South Bay Fish and Tackle's 6-day charter.
There is still one spot on that trip, and a couple on the Sept. 22 if you can get away.

16 yellowtail 150 calico bass 36 barracuda 65 whitefish 32 sheepshead. Very fun mixed bag fishing in shallow water.

Polaris Supreme Trip Report 08-14-2016 We had another fun day today! We were all over the board looking for yellowfin tuna, yellowtail and halibut. I did send you one token yellowtail picture but truly I think we had the most fun fishing halibut today! The weather is absolutely beautiful maybe a little too hot. We will have a little bit of time to fish tomorrow on our way up the line wish us luck. The Polaris supreme crew
