Good evening sports fans from the bridge of the Supreme. Today was yet another day off shore. We were busy all day long bendo on tuna mostly  jumping from bird school to bird school with quite a bit of fish on the machines too. Chapparo's group always brings it every year when it comes to putting in time at the rail, even when Chef Mike nearly puts us to sleep with his thick juicy cheese burgers and homemade fries for lunch. Nobody wimped and took a nap after that big plate of food, we were all right back at it keeping the rods bent. That really sums up the day, exceptional tuna fishing and a tasty half pound rosemary chicken dinner with rice, green beans and stuffing topped with whole gralic cloves followed by bannana foster for dessert. All and all great day, beautiful weather and we hope the weather mans forecast stays true for good weather for the next 2 days. Til tomorrow friends, good night to all, and to all a good night.

Polaris Supreme Trip Report 08-27-2016 Thanks again for checking in. We arrived nice and early to the tuna grounds to get ourselves in the best position for the days work. Shortly after first light we decided where we wanted to get things going. It started off quite slow as the conditions weren't just right. We lacked current which is not favorable to catching fish so it became a little bit of a waiting game. That gave Chef Mike his time to get breakfast out of the way. Not too long after we got mobile and did some looking around and finally started checking out some different schools and began scratching away at a few bluefin. They were in the 18 lb class which is not bad at all. As the day progressed, we found the spot that looked the best and posted up, getting a solid chum line going, got the balloons out and settled in. The fish slowly started popping up with some bluefin in the 70 lb class hitting the deck as well as Marilyn landing her first ever balloon fish and first yellowfin at about 70 lbs. Congrats on that one!! The rest of the afternoon was a steady pick on that beautiful grade of tuna. You couldn't ask for a better way to end a 3 day trip. As soon as we landed our last 2 nice bluefin, one being Theresa's 75 lb "dream fish", it was time to pack it up and head home for San Diego. Us here on the Polaris Supreme would like to say thanks to Charter Head Bev Seltzer and her team of ladies and gentlemen for joining us this year and looking forward to seeing them next year on the 2nd annual Sadie Hawkins 3 day Charter. Mike Pritchard called in with this report for the Tribute. "We're just rollin' out of our 2nd stop. We picked up 25 Bluefin & we still have a couple of fish hang'n. We also caught a half dozen Skipjack, 6 or 7 Dorado here for the morning. We are seeing a very, very good sign of tuna. I know there are a couple guys here who have done very well. We're talking over 100 fish for the morning, with some Yellowfin tuna as well. We'll keep you posted."

Hello everyone, Today we are supremely sore from pulling on fish. The morning was spent catching a handful of Wahoo, some Grouper, and a bunch of Yellowfin Tuna. When the afternoon rolled around we went looking for Dorado, and found them. It was a excellent grade, and everyone caught as much as they wanted. Very good fishing. We will be targeting Wahoo and Grouper tomorrow. Wish us Luck, Team Supreme

One stop late in the day accounted for all of our tuna. We ended up with 68 yellowfin 6 bluefin 29 yellowtail 7 bonito.
