brooklyn Fishing Report 2025

Good fishing in the morning with 70 to 100 pound fish. Most again were released. Late in the day we got lucky with two more big fish. Young Gunnar got another one over 200, and Charlie got one right at 200. Just a great trip with George Davis and his group, and an awesome crew. We will be into the Cape tomorrow to drop off the passengers to fly home and be at Fisherman's Landing on Wednesday.

Polaris Supreme Trip Report 07-13-2016 Good evening readers! We departed on Archie Steele's annual five day fishing trip. We left the harbor with a beautiful load of mid size sardines. There are a couple anglers who are new to the Polaris Supreme and we are eager to show them the Supreme experience! We will be fishing for yellowtail early tomorrow morning. We departed today on Eric Rogger's annual 5day trip. We have an excellent group of anglers onboard and picked up some great looking bait. The fishing prospects are looking good and we are anxious to go. We started rolling down to Cedros dinning on some terrific beef and shrimp kabobs, in some great weather. Last trip Drew got some huge yellowtail there. But reports from the albacore grounds got a lot more interesting so we did a 150 degree right turn and headed for the albacore. We will be there tomorrow at daylight. Fishing sounds really good.

Hello everyone, Today was the last day of our SImpatico 5 day charter. We decided to try our hand again at these Bluefin Tuna. The weather was choppy and it was uncomfortable for everyone. We only scratched up a couple of small tuna during the day. It wasn't until the evening that we found a school that wanted to play. We got our shot right before dark on a school right at the buzzard, at the end of the day. The fish were from 25 to 80 lbs, a nice mixed school to bring aboard and save the day! We had a great drift until dark, and we were excited to get the action in. What a great way to finish a great trip! An unbelievable variety on this trip including White Seabass, Halibut, Yellowtail, Dorado, Yellowfin Tuna, and even a 141lb Bluefin Tuna! Also I would like to thank Charter master Vernon Burke for putting together such a fun charter with a great group of guys! Always look forward to the trip and cant wait till next year! Polaris Supreme Trip Update 09-27-2019 AM Gust waiting to get to the fishing grounds! Standing By!

We finished off our trip at the lupe and it was poor. No sign of big fish only small fish. Good weather on our way home. We'll be dock side for a few days and departing on Wednesday for 10 days.

Well today was just dandy. I got out of the office today for several hours and it was neat. We got to where we wanted to be at 10:00 this morning and for 5 hours we had very good yellowtail fishing on just a beautiful grade. 18-25 pounds is what they were and they were snapping. It's just what we needed. A stopped boat with bent rods and excited passengers and crew. After that we were successful at getting bait and I was told by a few of the passengers that even that was a blast. Anyways it's safe to say that we are stoked. A load of fish and plenty of bait to use on tuna the rest of the trip. I want to take back my hole stupid time machine comment I made yesterday. I think our timing will be perfect. There's some big bluefin being had up above. Fish up to 150 pounds have been caught and that wasn't happening the beginning part of this trip. We're doing alright. The weather today was yet again just fantastic. We may experience some bump tomorrow though and it should come down for our last couple days.
