I have the Apollo in Santa Barbara again for the spring Channel Islands season. We are chartered on most of our weekend dates but here are a few options if you would like to get out fishing with us while we are up north. First we have a 2-day charter coming this weekend (Sat and Sun March 29/30). This regular charter group only takes 15 people and they are short 2 spots. Polaris Supreme Trip Report 10-25-2019 We spent the day looking for yellowtail and only tied into a few. Truthfully most the day was spent dodging wind. Our ride was good but we had some serious offshore Santa Ana conditions. Will be spending all day tomorrow traveling up to San Diego it looks like it's going to be great weather. Will be into the dock on Sunday morning and be doing 17 days of boat work before we head back out again for eight days on November 14. Thanks for tuning in to see you then. The Polaris Supreme Crew!

The Costello Gang returned with a great catch this morning and we provisioned and departed with out a hitch with Tom chaparro's annual 6 day limited trip. Our bait was excellent and we put it right to use on a fantastic afternoon of tuna fishing.It was Realy Good! We are now idling up swell for dinner in good weather and plan on doing more of the same tomorrow.The Polaris Supreme Crew.

 

Hello everyone, Today we departed on our Briscoe 8 day trip. We are loaded up with some large sardines from San Diego and headed south. We have quite a few options to head towards but right now we are weighing our options and seeing how the weather forecast will play out. Right now however, we are just concentrated on rigging up and enjoying the ride! Will report again tomorrow, Team Supreme

Capt Mike Pritchard on the Tribute calling in a fantastic fishing this morning, we have over 100 Yellowfin Tuna kelp hopping around the temporary pens. We have seen lots of Dorado in the area putting on show jumping, although we haven\'t been able to entice any to bite yet. We still have lots of time to fish today, the fishing has been the best we have seen in years. Now is the time to get out, call the landing to check for available spots on upcoming trip.  We had another good day today.  Well, afternoon I should say.  Yesterday, we got here at 2:30 in the PM and the fish were biting right away.  I thought for sure if we were here earlier, it would be stellar.  Nope.  2:30 was just right.  We hung out here all day not seeing any yellers, then right at 2;30, they showed up and it was good fishing for the next few hours.  We set up a little differently today and it paid off.  The grade of fish improved.  It was 70% premiums.  That's right.  18-30+ pounders.  2nd fish hold down.  We're cooling down the center well now. 

 Due to the fantastic fishing we've experienced this trip thus far, we are in need of some bait.  We're headed out to what I think is our best chance at making some.  No ones been there as far as I know for quite some time.  It's been windy.  It looks like we have a good weather window so it shouldn't look like the Flemesh Cap.  We're also hoping to run into some bluefin tuna while out there.  We're not just going out there for bait.  We're looking for something to use it on.  Let's keep the ball rolling.
