the Fishing Report 2024

Hello Supreme fans. We have finally hit our stride and started fishing.Unfortunately it happened to be right in the midst of some extremely tough fishing. Our first trip of the year was an Open party three day trip. We spent the three day searching the ocean for biting tuna as well as some inshore action. The tuna fishing was really slow but full of lots of spots of fish, and they were BIG. Bluefin well into the 150 lb class were around but not biting. We chipped away at some inshore fish and were able to put together a nice catch of quality Reds and Lingcod from the bottom. However the star of the show was hands down the jackpot fish. A 130lb Bluefin Tuna, a hard earned fish that ended in victory! These fish were big and did not make it easy to hook them or land them. Their size, abrasive teeth, and unwillingness to bite created quite the challenge.We did managed to hook 5 fish and only landed one. We are out on a two day after Independence day. Wish us Luck! Today we had fantastic fishing on 15- 25 lb Yellowtail. We were able to get on a couple really nice schools that made for some great action! Both the kids and the fathers did a great job putting the wood to these fish! There was definably a lot of sore arms when it was all said and done. Here we have Colt and Kingston with some nice Yellowtail. Hopefully they will be rested up for offshore tomorrow. We will be looking for Tuna and Dorado.

Captain Ryan Bositan checked in with an update tonight from the San Diego. Today we fished at the Coronado Islands. We had 18 anglers catch 2 Bluefin Tuna, 1 Sheephead, 7 Yellowtail, 6 Calico Bass, 90 Bonito, and 13 Rockfish. Check out the beautiful Sheephead we caught today that weighed in at 18 pounds.

Arrived at our fishing destination today at 9:30am. As soon as we put the anchor down we were going full speed on a very nice grade of yellowtail. The small ones were 16 lbs. and then went up to over 30 lbs. The weather again is beautiful.. We headed up the line and got to where we were going before dark to fish a couple hours for rock cod and then we headed west into the offshore mode. Scallops and fresh yellowtail for dinner. Friday April 19

Great day of fishing today. One over 200 lbs. and a couple real close.

We had 20 tuna and 12 wahoo. Weather has backed off and is gorgeous.

We are looking forward to the last couple days of fishing.

Captain Ryan Bostian checked in tonight with an update from the San Diego out of Seaforth Sportfishing in Mission Bay. We had a couple good shots today. Our 25 anglers ended up with 20 Yellowtail and 20 Rockfish.

Come on out fishing we us now. We have been having light loads and the weather has been great.

Hello Everyone, Today we had a nice day fishing Bluefin and Yellowtail. The Tuna were very nice grade 20-40lbs, and the Yellows were solid 20lbs as well. We are looking forward to trying this area again tomorrow. Will report then, Team Supreme

Captain Ryan Bostian called in late last night with an update from The San Diego out of Seaforth Landing in Mission Bay! We had 101 Yellowtail for 53 anglers. We also saw a couple nice spots of Bluefin Tuna. Right now we are not allowed to catch Bluefin Tuna in Mexico so we will continue to focus on Yellowtail for the meantime. Hopefully, the Bluefin issue will be resolved soon.
