suwannee Fishing Report 2025

The Apollo called in earlier. They have just started on their 5 day trip. They have 11 Albacore for their 9 guys. Nice Job, JJ!

Today we had some fun fishing on the small yellowfin (released) and yellowtail up to 22 pounds. Our new guys Jim and Gunnar got the kinks out. Rack of lamb for dinner and off to bed to get ready for some hopefully great fishing tomorrow.

Captain Mike Pritchard called in with a wrap-up from the Tribute's overnight trip today. We had 18 Bluefin Tuna and 16 yellowtail. We did have one Jumbo Bluefin at 70 pounds. Our next trip is SOLD OUT but we have a trip next week with availability. Call Seaforth at (619) 224-3383 to get in on the action.

The Sat phone in down on the Polaris Supreme, but through the old fashion way I have a report that they are doing well. Nice quality fish with three at or over 200 lbs. and another nine between 100-150 lbs.

Weather has been a little windy and rolly, but has greatly improved by this morning. We'll keep you updated as best as possible as I get the reports.

The Sat phone in down on the Polaris Supreme, but through the old fashion way I have a report that they are doing well. Nice quality fish with three at or over 200 lbs. and another nine between 100-150 lbs.

Weather has been a little windy and rolly, but has greatly improved by this morning. We'll keep you updated as best as possible as I get the reports.

Hello Everyone, Today we had a nice morning of Yellowtail fishing. Very foggy and chilly, with slack conditions. We did manage to tag some medium grade Yellowtail though. A nice way to use some tags at the end of the trip. We will be in tomorrow and back out for 8 Will Report then, Team Supreme

Captain Ryan Bostian checked in with an update from the San Diego out of Seaforth Sportfishing out of Mission Bay, CA. We are still trophy fishing! We caught a 132 pound Bluefin Tuna. We had 9 Bluefin Tuna (one at 132, a 101, 7 of them at 75 pounds). We had two over 100 pounds that pulled the hook at color.
Short topshot and flurocarbon is not working. Please have 100 to 200 feet of mono topshot.

Polaris Supreme Report 07-22-2016 Happy Friday everyone! We elected to stay the night at the same place as yesterday, in hopes of another action packed day of yellowtail fishing . We got the anchor down and started fishing around 5:30, to stage ourselves for the morning hit. As the misty morning came upon us we began to hook some nice yellowtail. We were finally starting to hit our stride when the fish quit biting. As the sky cleared it seemed as the yellows did too. We tried several spots that amounted to a slow pick throughout the day. Unfortunately we finished off the day without the wall to wall action yellowtail hit we were hoping for. However we still scratched up some quality fish. We feel very fortunate to have had such a great day of fishing yesterday. After fishing hard into the early afternoon we finally set a course for Point Loma to and wrap up this great 5 day trip. We have smooth sailing for the ride up and are looking at 7:00 am at the dock. We currently have a four day online departing August 2nd that still has a couple openings. Stopped on schools of bluefin all day today but we’re unable to get one to stick. We did however land this 140 pound beauty. Back out tomorrow.
