wow, what a day! stonewall was a bit of a washout today. heavier rain than expected. didn’t catch much but I did see some big ones swimming by. just enjoyed the nature and got soaked! next time will be better, i hope. keep casting!
fished stonewall this morning, it was chilly and overcast. only caught a few panfish. not the best day. wind was messing with my casts, but hey, gotta keep trying! gonna hit it again next week when it warms up a bit.
yesterday was overcast but good fishing at stonewall. had a blast with my dad. we caught some smallmouths, biggest was a solid 3 lbs. they liked the darker lures. also, the wind picked up a bit, so had to watch it. but we had a great time!
another day at stonewall, patchy rain but who cares? hooked 4 bass today, with the biggest at around 5 lbs. used a topwater frog early in the morning. they were hitting it like crazy! enjoyed the clouds, made it cooler. nice day on the lake!
went to stonewall again. the rain didn’t stop, but it was kinda chill. caught a couple of decent crappies, one was close to 2 lbs. they were biting near the submerged trees. light tackle worked best with a bobber. looking forward to more days like this!
