Well that wasn't very fun. Lame is what I would call it. We fished the exact same as we did yesterday but only in reverse. We started where we finished yesterday and finished where we started and yes, it was lame. Not much fish and a whole lot of wind. You could of surfed some of the waves we saw yesterday. Needless to say we got out of there and headed up to where the weather is nice and there is a plethora of fish. We hope. It's the afternoon of the 19th and we're almost to the grounds. We'll check back tonight.

 We have traveled all day today doing the usual rigging and eating! We really don't have a whole lot to report. We will be fishing first thing tomorrow morning and looking forward to dinner a good night sleep and waking up to a good weather and great fishing tomorrow. Wish us luck.

Good morning Everyone, Our annual Heil charter has come, the longest running charter on Polaris Supreme. We are very happy top welcome aboard this group of anglers. Ron Heil has been keeping his father's charter going for years with a good core group of anglers. We are exited to have these guys aboard as well as some new faces. Spirits are high, and we're all very hopeful for the next 5 days. Team Supreme

Hey gang Ryan from the San diego checking in with the Coronado island report. Some very nice schools of yellowtail have moved into the islands. I can honestly say that every time we stopped the boat today we were stopping on a big school of yellows.

Hooking and landing these yellows was not easy to say the least. We hooked around 30 fish today and landed 16. This time of year a lot of our anglers are first timers so hooking and landing a 20-30 lb. yellowtail in 75 foot of water is a tall order. With that being said we did have several people catch their very first yellowtail ever today. Our hotshot angler for the day was Edgar Marty. Edgar was one of the few anglers who had his own tackle today and he hooked 5 yellows and landed 4. Edgar was flylining sardines on 25 lb. mono with a 5 ft. piece of fluorocarbon tied to the end. Conditions at the islands are about as nice as they could be.

Good evening everyone, Today we spent the day, crimping, cutting, wiring, and simply enjoying the ride down the line. Sun in the sky, low winds, and great company. What more can you ask for! We have Wahoo in our sights for tomorrow morning and are making great speed traveling down. We should arrive early tomorrow morning to begin trying for these fish. Hi friends. Yesterday, it was a sad day for Raider nation and eleven years ago today, it was a sad day for our nation. A day that we will never forget and with the sadness and pain came unity and strength. We pay or respects to those lost on September 11th of 2001 and we pay respects to the military --past and present-- that fought for our freedom and still continue to fight today. Thank you, from the Polaris Supreme.

Anyhow, the weather was fantastic. We caught good yellowtail this morning and we had jigs behind the boat for most of the day while we made our way up the line to get setup for tomorrow. We actually had to pull in the jigs on numerous occasions because the football yellowfin were so relentless. We're after trophies now and it sounds like there are some schools of big yellowfin running around. We'll see if we can't get on a school to end our trip on a grand note. Polaris Supreme Trip Update 09-09-2019 This morning the bite started out early. We caught quite a bit of variety, an Amoco Jack, sum Pargo, an Amberjack, and the yellowfin tuna were still present! As daylight came around the skipjack slowly took over but not before we made a nice day out of it on yellowfin tuna with a few Wahoo sprinkled in. Guys are having a great time and our weather is beautiful. The Polaris supreme crew!
