last trip was kinda rough, weather really turned nasty with rain showers and cold temps. only caught 1 bass, but it was a decent 5lb’er. had my favorite black buzzbait on, but we were soaked the whole time. still, a day fishing is better than a day at work!
went out solo, weather was just ehh. caught just a couple, but they were nice ones, 3-4 lbs. used a spinnerbait, super fun to see them chase it down. not as many bites as I hoped tho, still felt good to be on the water, ya know?
back at it today - overcast and a tad breezy! fished deep and got into a school of bass, pulled out 5 all around 4-6 lbs which was awesome! using a crankbait, bright colors worked wonders. love this lake, always surprises me!
what a wet day! got out on the water even when the downpour hit. i lost a few lures but landed a 4lb bass under the cover of the trees. worming with a 10” wacky rig, it was super slow but hey, a fish is a fish, right? lol!
hit the lake again today, it was pretty overcast but nice temp around 18C. managed to hook 4 bass, biggest was 5.5lbs! I was using a shaky head with a green pumpkin worm. they seemed to be around the rocky points. really chill day overall.
