overcast skies but i had high hopes today! went after lunch, felt like fish should be on the bite. used some topwater lures but only got a couple hits. still fun hanging with the crew by the lake. we’ll get ‘em next time!

went out around sunrise, mist was thick on the lake. it was so peaceful. didn’t catch much, just one small bass on a crankbait. but honestly, just being out there made my day. that mist and calm water was worth the trip!

seriously, the weather today was straight gloomy! went fishing in heavy rain, hooked a couple of perch but that’s all. lots of mist, I felt like a drowned rat after. still love being out there, though! next time maybe i’ll check the forecast first.

back at skaneateles, but man, the rain hit hard again! got soaked out there but still managed to pull out a couple of smallies, nothing over 2 lbs tho. used a spinnerbait, thought it would work better. oh well, still good to be on the water!

what a beautiful day! we hit skaneateles lake for some bass fishing, caught at least 5 nice ones! used a wacky rig with some senkos, they were biting like crazy. sun was out, and the wind was just nice enough. can’t wait to go back!
