Good Morning everyone,
Today we had some time to fish for Yellowtail along the coast.
We managed to catch some Yellowtail mixed in with the Barracuda and Bonito.
It was great action for the day.
If we make good speed we may be able to fish tomorrow.
Will report then,
Team Supreme

We woke up to jock strap and sun visor weather this morning. Did some
rigging and had roast beef in a portabella mushroom sauce for lunch. We
had good success acquiring yellowtail and tuna for hors d'oeuvres and
proceeded to eat them in the form of sushi and sashimi. Dinner is
coming up in a few minutes, halibut in a lemon butter caper sauce. We
are going to consolidate our sardines and swing by the bait grounds to
pick up a tank of greenies. We will see you tomorrow on the tuna grounds.

Fun fishing out here! Kelp patty yellowtail, 20-30 lb bluefin and yellowfin tuna!
We have even had some chances at bigger tuna in the 50-80 lb class.
Will report again soon,

Captain Ryan Bostian checked in this evening with an update from the San Diego out of Seaforth Sportfishing in Mission Bay. Today we had 19 anglers catch 13 Bluefin Tuna. The best way to get a bite was finesse live bait rigs (20 lb floor #2 hook) or an 80-100 gram flat fall. I would bring both your heavy outfits and large flat falls for the bigger Bluefin Tuna.

Hello Everyone,
Today we had a nice day of Yellowtail fishing. We were able to pick at Yellowtail for the first half of the day until around lunch time. The majority of the Yellowtail came on the YoYo jig. After that we were only able to catch Bonito and Barracuda.
We have beautiful weather down here and will be targeting Yellowfin Tuna and Yellowtail tomorrow.
Wish us luck,
Team Supreme

Skipper Drew Henderson took a look at the San Benitos Islands on a four-day Polaris Supreme trip with 24 anglers. He arrived in the afternoon to find fair to good fishing and some seals that were hungry but not ravenous. He said his anglers got yellowtail there up to 30 pounds. Next day he fished at Cedros Island.
"We got 80 big ones there," he said, "at the South End."
Eric Thomas of Palmdale won first place for a 46.8-pound yellowtail. He bagged it with a sardine on a 5/0 Eagle Claw hook and 50-pound Big Game Line. Thomas fished with a Trinidad 40 reel and a Calstar 6460 H rod. He said he got the big ‚Дтtail in 15 minutes.
Shannon Nutt of Palmdale was second for a 37.8-pounder, and Edward Agadjanian of Glendale, home of Newell reels, said he used a Newell reel to take his third place 34.8-pound yellowtail.
