Today was greatly disappointing after such a great fishing yesterday. Our efforts for better quality fish did not pay off. We saw great signs of 80-100 lb. fish but they just didn't want to cooperate. They would boil up good and look promising, but we only got a handful of fish. We are going to leave this place and give it time to straighten out. We are going to look for a new area. Our weather is still absolutely premium. Warm, hot and balmy. Thanks for checking in.

After another slow day offshore. We have decided to make Monday and Tuesday an island trip. We will be targeting yellowtail, kelp bass, barracuda and we even heard of a bluefin sighting today. Summer island tackle consists of a 25 lb bait rod, a 40 lb yo-yo rod, your favorite jig stick and your favorite kelp bass rod. Passports are required. Reservations are light but both trips are a definite go.

8 Bluefin and 3 Bonito today for our group. The big one weighed in at 215 pounds gill and gutted (probably 240lbs) The fish was caught on a flatfall and 100 pound test.

Capt Mike Pritchard called in from the Tribute with a fantastic on the water report for today, so far we have limits of some really nice grade Dorado and a couple Yellowtail. The Dorado were in mid to high 20 lb range, we then started searching for tuna and decided to put out some Wahoo jigs and we did manage to get a couple nice 50 lb plus Wahoo for out efforts. Polaris Supreme Trip Report 07-12-2016 #2 Hello anglers good afternoon we ended up going offshore hunting kelp patties down with pretty good success we had 32 mix fish yellowfin tuna nice size yellowtail and Dorado. Overall a very successful afternoon and a successful day. The weathers great were rolling up the line and will be in the dock tomorrow morning bright and early. We would like to thank All the Guy's, Billy Stephens and all the Emerson group for coming out and joining us fishing on what was a fun fun five day and a fantastic group of guys.
