Captain Mike Pritchard called in from the Tribute this afternoon. We have had very good Yellowfin Tuna fishing. We have over 130 Yellowfin Tuna and a lot of Yellowtail and Dorado.

It wasn't a float day today. We had some action spread out through the day though. We got about 3 a round on the elusive Bluefins and did plenty of pulling and tugging on yellow tails. The weather was once again spectacular and we're expecting some pretty good weather tomorrow as well. Not as perfect as the last couple of days but still good. We'll be doing this again tomorrow and if the bf's stay on the same schedule it should be a float day. We'll see and you'll read. See you then.

AWESOME 1.5 TRIPS WITH CAPT. J.J.!!! APOLLO is fully booked for January. We're now getting reservations for February. They will go fast. Boat will be departing every Friday night. We worked hard to get our hundred fish today. Lots and lots of schools that didn't cooperate all that well. They were biting pretty good at the end with steady hook ups on the but hooked bait on the bow. We're grateful with the action and catch we got today. We'll be signing off for a little over a week. The next trip is a 7 day departing on October 7th. Take care then, bye bye now.

We finished off our trip at the lupe and it was poor. No sign of big fish only small fish. Good weather on our way home. We'll be dock side for a few days and departing on Wednesday for 10 days.

The spring Season is nearly upon us and we will be taking the Apollo to Santa Barbara for the rockfish opener and hopefully a productive seabass season. Captain Mike Pritchard called in this morning with an update from the Tribute. So far off to a great start we have over 75 mixed fish. We have 30 Bluefin Tuna (20 to 45 pounds). We have 40 Yellowfin Tuna and a handful of Yellowtail. Extended 1.5 day trip departing at 5 PM on Friday night. We have seen some tuna up to 120 pounds caught in this zone.

Today was better fishing. It was still a grind but we were able to get some real trophies for our last day. Pictured here we have Mic with his beautiful Yellowfin. Also we have Jim Holman and Jon Collins with their big fish of the trip! Nice Job guys!
