so I hit up the river this morning with some buddies, the rain was light but it kept the fish biting for sure. we started around 6am right after sunrise and got soaked but it didn't matter. I was using my trusty spinning reel with a 1/4 oz jig head and a black and blue worm. caught 4 decent catfish, biggest was about 5 lbs! the wind was chill but nothing crazy, around 14km/h. felt like we were gonna pull in a big one any moment! ended the day around noon. had a great time even with the clouds and a bit of rain, there's just something about fishing that lifts my spirits. can’t wait to go again!
