Hello everyone how about a little recap of our seven day AHI Charter. We spent two days traveling down to the hot Wahoo grounds in absolutely beautiful flat, whether enjoying the company of all of our good friends old and new! From there proceeded to have some of the most awesome Wahoo fishing for the next three days with a few hundred football yellowfin tuna and a handful of quality Dorado thrown in. The next day we spent scrounging around for a shot at giving everybody a chance to catch a yellowtail. And here we are today traveling up and doing what we always do on the last day hanging out telling stories taking naps and oh yeah we have Wi-Fi so burning up megabytes on Mexicans tell cell. We will be into the dock tomorrow morning and unload our beautiful catch. If you got a chance swing by the landing at daylight and take a peek. The Polaris supreme will be at the dock until November 6 doing boat work and then we will depart on our limited load 10 day trip with Jim Holman and the boys! We still have room for four or anglers if you would like to join us November 6 for some of the most impressive Wahoo fishing we have ever seen in the fall. Good morning everyone, Yesterday started off slow, we tried a new area this morning that has not been given a good morning try in a while. However it did not pay off, all we have to show for our efforts is a few Striped Marlin. As we worked our way around we found a few batches of Wahoo spread out though out the area. A nice way to break up the search in this scorching baja heat. We did end up finding some biting tuna. A great grade of fish from 13-25 lbs. Fantastic action here to cap off the day. We are looking to top off our tuna count today and focus on Wahoo for the remainder of today. Wish us luck, Team Supreme

Wow, what a day. Absolutely phenomenal albacore fishing.
Fun, fun, fun!! This is the best many anglers and crew alike have ever seen. We fished from daylight until they shut off at 5pm. Just like a 9-5 work day only a heck of a lot more fun. We had a break for a yummy breaded veal cutlet on top of fettuccine with fresh vegetables for lunch and dinner was a really good old St Patrick's feast of corn beef, cabbage, veggies and probably the best potatoes I have ever had with corn beef. They were cooked in some sort of mustard horseradish, and they were a standout in the meal. We are really delighted to have found Pedro. Weather is still good and we will fish tomorrow until 10am and then head off to Guadalupe for some big yellow fin!

We had a pretty good day of yellowtail fishing today. It wasn't wide open and it wasn't slow either. Just some steady picking through out most of the day. It didn't rain so that was cool. I'm really drawing a blank on what to write here so I think I'll keep it short. There's nothing significant to tell you all about. Mark didn't wear the dunce helmet today and nobody fell in the water or told a good joke. Just some steady picking of the yellows. We're heading back to the bluefin grounds to give it another try at those beauts. The weather rolling up is just fantastic and we're expecting more of it tomorrow. Oh yeah! The seared bluefin we had for dinner tonight was very very good. It was paired with edaname, these super tasty green beans and some just delicious tasting mashed potatoes so there you have it. Sweet dreams all.

Big Bluefin on the Brain! Were able to scoop up some big Flying Fish on our way up the line! These flyers will be the perfect size bait for the local giant Bluefin Tuna. Recently the hot ticket has been: Heavy Flat falls in the dark, frozen Flying Fish on the kite, and trolling the Yummee flyer. We individually wrap our flying fish in saran wrap so they do not stick together when we freeze them. These ones are ready and on stand by for the big ones!

 Good evening everyone.  We wrapped up our trip today.  And it was an interesting day.  First off the weather continued to produce variable wind.  Flat calm and gorgeous.  Onto the fishing.  As you know we almost had no sardine today.  We used it well though for the time we had it.  The bluefin floated today.  Everywhere you looked there was a 30-50 pound bluefin gently rolling on the glassy surface.  Other times you would see the whole school swimming on the surface.  It definitely had that feel to it.  We caught 30 fish from 30-50 pounds this morning before we ran out of bait.  For the time being it was great but sad when we ran out.  We still had a couple tanks of big mackerel to use and Tommy had it figured out where we would use it.  So we made a few hour move and it didn't take long after we arrived to the honey hole before we were gettinum.  Big yellowfin.  45-65 pounders.  It felt like we were anchored up at Alijos Rocks when the tuna were around there.  Those fish liked our mackerel.  We caught a few over 20 of those bad boys before they quit biting.  I wish we could be in 2 spots at once.

 So we have a 1.5 day trip leaving tomorrow afternoon Aug. 27 and we want you to go.  Let me try and talk you into it.  Now this is me speaking truth.  Not blowing smoke at you.  The weather still is fore casted to be great great.  Variable wind.  Now I told you we had great fishing this morning while we had bait.  A lot of the boats that had just left on there trips that had bait all day drifted all day.  Not all but a lot. They drifted and they caught. It's a good time to go fishing I'd say.  Good grade, good fishing. Let us take you fishing, feed you great, show you a good time and hopefully the bonus, catch lots of fish.
