Sam Rayburn Lake Fishing Report

crazy weather today! fishing was a bit slow but caught a nice 3lb crappie before the thunder rolled in. had to pack up fast, the wind picked up too! better luck next time.

fished all day under cloudy skies. got a few bites but only reeled in a tiny bass. rain started just as i was heading back. still nice to be out there, ya know?

went solo today, bit of patchy rain but stayed dry mostly. caught several small mouth bass on spinnerbaits, nothing huge but fun to catch. thunderstorms were brewing in the distance.

what a day! fished while it rained off and on. managed to catch a monster 6lb bass!!! used a buzzbait near the grass. totally worth getting wet.

hit the lake again, weather was muggy but no rain. landed a few bass, biggest was 4lbs on a green pumpkin worm. had to weed through small ones though. but it was a fun day!
