another round at the reservoir, it was a partly cloudy day. the water was cooler than expected but I still managed a few bites! used a crankbait and it paid off, landed a nice 3 pounder! felt like a good day even if I didn’t catch a ton, just being out and enjoying nature is what matters.
got out to round valley during light drizzle, it was kinda refreshing! caught a decent-sized trout, maybe 4lbs, on a white rooster tail. honestly, the rain didn’t bother me, it felt great! the wind picked up a bit, but it didn’t stop the fun. sometimes fishing in the rain is the best, no one around!
fished with my dad for a few hours, caught a couple of smallmouths. weather was decent, a bit breezy but not too bad. at one point, the clouds rolled in but nothing too serious. used soft plastics and they were hitting them good! ended up releasing the small ones but was a fun day on the water!
it was pretty cold out there, only 7.8°c! but the sun was shining and I was determined! only caught one lil perch but I was just happy being out there. used my old spinning rod, it’s my lucky charm. the water was calm, had a couple of nibbles but they weren’t biting much. still had a blast!
went fishing today at round valley, weather was overcast which is usually good. got skunked tho lol. tried everything from jigs to live bait but no luck. I swear the fish were just hiding from me. maybe they were just taking a lazy day? anyway, I’ll be back next time, can’t let a bad day keep me down.
