finally got some rain! went to rampart, hoping for good luck. it was patchy rain but I snagged a couple nice ones! biggest was a 4lb rainbow! the rain brought them out for sure. can’t wait to hit it again!

hit the water this morning, nice and warmish for a change. caught 2 great browns on my favorite spoons. the wind was rough tho, made casting a lil harder. still, worth it for the thrill! rampart never disappoints.

partly cloudy but super windy today! got my kayak out, went to the secluded cove. caught 3 nice trout on a trolled little crankbait. dang wind made it tough sometimes, but man it was fun trying to stay steady. fishing is life!

overcast day at rampart, water temp was decent. had some luck with spinners! got a couple of rainbows, nice and colorful. the wind picked up but it was still a chill vibe. just love being out here, nothing like it!

today was wild, caught a 5lb bass right off the drop-off! cloudy and cool but at least it wasn’t cold. used a jerkbait, did the trick! also lost another big one, damn it. It was a good fight tho. can't wait to go back.
