took a trip to quemado lake today! sunny and warm, perfect for a day out. couldn’t keep the fish off the line! ended with 6 bass, the best one was 3.5lbs! used a white spinnerbait, they couldn’t resist it! great day!
fished quemado yesterday, it was overcast but still warm. didn’t catch a whole lot but got a 2 lb rainbow trout on a worm. the wind picked up later and made it hard to cast. saw some other folks catching too, so not a total bust!
man today was gorgeous at quemado lake! got there bright and early, sun shining and all. caught 4 bass, the biggest was around 4lbs, all on a jig! the weather was perfect for fishing and just good vibes all around.
OMG sunny day out at quemado! finally got a break. caught nothing but had an amazing time. brought my new rod (abu garcia!) but only got some bites. saw tons of turtles tho! can’t wait to go back! bring on the fish!
was at quemado lake yesterday, partly cloudy but not too chilly, around 14 degrees. caught one nice 3 lb catfish using stink bait. they were biting a little slower, but had fun nonetheless. it’s always nice to get out there!
