Pyramid Lake Fishing Report

today was cloudy and overcast at pyramid lake, but that didn’t stop us! caught a couple decent cutthroats, biggest was like 4lbs. used a homemade fly that worked wonders. even with wind at 23km/h, we had a blast! can't complain about a day on the water.

pyramid lake was beautiful today! sunny, around 9.5 degrees. we got there early and caught a few before noon, mostly rainbows. didn’t keep any tho, all catch and release. used a light jigging setup. the wind was a pain at times but it was great to be out there fishing. til next time!

fished pyramid today, was around 12 degrees and partly cloudy. my buddy caught a monster 7lber while i was only managing smaller ones. used a yellow rooster tail, had some nibbles tho. overall, great vibe and had fun chilling by the lake even if fish were a bit shy!

went fishing at pyramid on thursday, still a bit chilly at 9.7 degrees but the fish were biting. got a couple of nice browns around 3-4 lbs, super stoked! used a black woolly bugger, they couldn't resist it. a bit windy but we managed to find a good spot sheltered from it. love this lake!

so today was a bit rough, cloudy and windy like crazy at pyramid. temp dropped to 9 degrees and I only managed to pull a small 1lb trout! used my usual worms but didn’t have much luck. just tried to enjoy the view, but man it was tough out there. hoping for better weather next time!
