well, guess what? another heavy rain hit me today on the river. was hoping for nicer weather, but still managed to pull in a couple of good perch! using worms and they just couldn’t resist. probably gonna have to invest in a good rain jacket for the next time!
man what a wild time out here today! patchy rain with thunder but I went out anyway. little scary but I caught 2 decent stripers on a popper! they were really active with the storms. made for a fun and adrenaline-filled session, even if it was a lil sketchy!
took a quick trip to the Ouachita today, another rainy day! wasn't expecting much but ended up catching a nice 6lb largemouth bass! used a frog lure, and it worked like a charm. love it when luck comes my way despite the weather!
ugh, it rained again! but I still went out in the late afternoon. didn’t think I’d catch anything, but got lucky with a small pike! used my trusty spinner, just a bit of a challenge casting in the wind. got wet but the thrill of the catch made it all worthwhile.
man, the heavy rain made things tough today. I was out there too long and ended up getting drenched. only caught 1 small bass, probably a lb at most. couldn’t really fish properly with the rain pouring down so hard. next time gonna check the weather better before heading out.
