Polaris Supreme Trip Report 11-11-16 Today we are going to start out our report by telling Carla Studley that her husband Tom Studley would like to tell her he loves her and has been happy to have been married to her for so many wonderful years. Happy Anniversary Carla and Tom! After writing that last sentence I just found out that Mark and Eve on board are having an anniversary today! Congratulations to you two also! Well on to fishing. I don't know where they came from I'm glad they did we just had a great day Wahoo fishing! What a great place to celebrate your anniversary for Mark and Eve catching Wahoo on board the Polaris supreme! At least you get the benefit at home Carla with Wahoo tacos Wahoo Almond Dean and what ever delicious dish you can come up with. We have great weather and are having a fantastic time out here we are hoping the Wahoo are going to stick around inside here like they were today, that would be fantastic to do this two days in a row! Oct. 10

Another travel day today so another day with nothing to report. I enjoyed a nice sleeping in this morning, then ate some cereal, then cleaned an engine room along with Mark and Jed. I noticed there were some movies being played and naps being had. We're going to try our hands at some squid in the early a.m. hours to give us a little more to fish with tomorrow. We're getting in the bluefin mode tomorrow for our last day before we return to San Diego.

Mr. Joe G. Yes you Joe. I am truly sad to say that tomorrow is our last chance to catch an albacore before we square up our bet. Unfortunately even if there was a miracle and we did find a biting school I don't think we could get a hundred to make you a winner in our bet so make sure you have that bill clean and crisp. I know you know but I would have loved to lose that bet. Thankfully we had the bluefin this year covering for the albacore so we were still in good shape for the summer. Fall is here and they're still biting. Timing is everything.

POLARIS SUPREME TRIP UPDATE 09-27-2020 We had a good day scratching at small grade Yellows and Tuna with a few grouper thrown in. We are off to look for premium Yellowtail tomorrow. The Polaris Supreme Crew!

We have a 2-day trip coming up and need some people to help fill it. This could be a great opportunity to get in on some sea bass action. There were already a few 40# sea bass caught at the channel islands last weekend Here is the info for the trip. I hope to see you there.

One stop late in the day accounted for all of our tuna. We ended up with 68 yellowfin 6 bluefin 29 yellowtail 7 bonito.

Hello Everyone, Today we had a nice morning of Yellowtail fishing. Very foggy and chilly, with slack conditions. We did manage to tag some medium grade Yellowtail though. A nice way to use some tags at the end of the trip. We will be in tomorrow and back out for 8 Will Report then, Team Supreme

We gave it the Dark till Dark effort and came up dry. We did however see multiple very nice schools of yellowfin that were not interested in our hooks.

Monday, September 10th, 2012

Hi friends. Just a real dandy of a day for us today. We started it out in the morning with the yellowtail snap and then we followed it up in the afternoon with Monday night footballs. The footballs were all you wanted and we also added a small handful of dorado to our days count. We did all of this in flat calm conditions and the boys are all wore out from the excellent fishing that we had today. Everybody's pumped and I screamed myself hoarse today.

For tomorrow, we're looking for tuna with a little more size as one of our code boats had a nice afternoon on those premium grade offshore yellowfin tuna so we'll be in the area looking around for a few ourselves. The boys enjoyed a twenty-two year old Cabernet sauvigon tonight and I think Robin and Wayne might have shed a tear together while talking about it. I still haven't had any but the dudes looked pretty glossy-eyed so I imagine it was pretty darn good.

Anyhow, the Blue/White gang is having a super duper fantastic time catching fish, drinking cocktails/wine, and eating Chef Shawn's culinary creations. Our weather forecast is looking good for tomorrow so hopefully we can get on a big ole' school of big yellowfin. Wish us luck.
