Polaris Supreme Update 08-03-2012

Hi Anglers

Today started off bad for the first half. We just couldn't get it right . Then around mid day we found the school we where looking for. What were we looking for and found you might ask? Strait 33 t0 45 pound Yellowfin Tuna. What a beautiful grade of fish, thats all you heard captains on the radio saying all afternoon. We ended up having a great day. The main thing that frustrated us this morning was 4 out of the 8 long range guys put together a great morning on nice grade yellowtail. One of the guys even drifted all day on yellows and tuna. Now don't get me wrong I am really happy for him but I want to be that guy. Maybe tomorrow. We are experiencing great weather and hoping for more of that also. Mom, Taylor is having the time of her life so not to worry she is being spoiled. Thanks for tuning in Tommy.

45 pass. 225 yellowfin tuna 50 skipjack tuna. The entire fleet had blood running out the scuppers. Best fishing of the season is happening right now. Don’t miss out.

POLARIS SUPREME TRIP REPORT 09-17-2020 It was a fair bite on the good grade tuna in the morning. We caught the only angler who didn't have a Wahoo one. And then went scouting. We where rewarded with a Boomer school of Dorado. We fished it for 45 minuets, Releasing most all fish. We kept only 14. Yellowtail tomorrow. See you then. The Polaris Supreme Crew!

Today we went out with 13 anglers and caught 33 yellowtail and 12 rockfish. The best way to catch a yellowtail today was on a yo-yo lure. These fish are very big and mean so make sure you have fresh 40 or 50 lb. monofilament. We did manage to catch a couple of yellowtail on the surface iron but the yo-yo was by far the most consistent. The yellowtail were in the 18-30 lb. class.

Hello Everyone, It has been pretty action packed today. Starting with biting Yellowfin Tuna in the dark then, changing to picking at Grouper and Wahoo during the day. Now settling back into a night time pick on the Yellowfin Tuna. It seems like there is always something going on. We are loving the variety and cannot wait for what tomorrow brings. Pretty darn good fishing once again today, 26 Bluefin and 1 Yellowtail. Please make sure your gear is in good working order, I really should have taken pictures of some of the gear failures.
