went on may 18, weather was still overcast, got some good rain earlier. didn't catch much, but it was nice to be outside. just a couple small perch. wind was a little crazy, but threw a few lures and practiced casting a bit. still a chill day!
so, may 15 was a bit windy, but i went to conestoga lake. caught this massive pike, around 8lbs! used a spinnerbait, and wow was it a fight. had a few more bites but that one stole the show for sure. overcast skies made it feel like fall.
what a beautiful day on may 13! it was sunny and warm, so we hit up the spillway. caught a bunch of bluegills, around 20 total! using worms as bait, they wouldn't leave us alone haha. had a picnic too, just a great day with friends!
may 9 brought some sunshine and a good mood! took the boat out on zag lake and hooked a huge 5lb bass on a topwater lure. it was exhilarating! only a few fish today, but that one made it worth it. can't beat the views either!
had a pretty good day at the lake on may 7! it was overcast and not too hot. caught a couple of nice crappies, around 2lbs each. used some jigs in the shallows, they were hungry. ended up spending hours there, just peaceful vibes!
