Polaris Supreme Trip Update 07-30-2016 What we started out our first day fishing with great hopes of success catching yellowtail right off the bat on the anchor. Those dreams ended quickly with only a handful of fish off-color dirty water and really not that much life compared to what we had seen in this area before. Knowing we needed to make tracks heading towards what we hope will be tomorrow's hot tuna grounds we quickly departed for offshore kelp patty fishing the rest of the day. Although we were in excellent water and saw plenty of kelp's we had no success. Beautiful weather fun group of guys no fish. That pretty much sums up yesterday. The Sat phone in down on the Polaris Supreme, but through the old fashion way I have a report that they are doing well. Nice quality fish with three at or over 200 lbs. and another nine between 100-150 lbs.

Weather has been a little windy and rolly, but has greatly improved by this morning. We'll keep you updated as best as possible as I get the reports.

Captain Ryan Bostian checked in today. The Yellowfin Tuna fishing continues to impress. Today we had 75 Yellowfin Tuna and 13 Skipjack Tuna. The San Diego is online for fishing offshore. Call at (619) 224-3383 or BOOK ONLINE at www. thesandiego.com.

WOW!! What an incredible day!!! This albacore is in the cooler 76 degree water. It wants to bite wide open. Can't say enough about how much fun today was catching big fat jumbo albacore. They tired our anglers out. By the end of the day only a few were still standing. Chef Pedro fixed a spicy teriyaki albacore lunch that was fantastic. For dinner he served some delicious veal chops. Today was just a great. this is what albacore fishing is supposed to be like.

4 yellowtail 129 calico bass 29 barracuda 4 sheepshead 26 whitefish. Another action packed day at the Coronado Islands.

Hello Everyone,
Today we were able to check everyone off on the Wahoo list. Everyone on the boat has at least one Wahoo! We are pumped about that. There was a nice shot on 20-30 lb tuna in the dark this morning, but as the sun rose the Tuna Stopped biting. Aside from the Wahoo we landed one nice Grouper to add to the mix! It ate a baby Yellowfin! Crazy!

The 3 days of wind dropped the water temp a couple of degrees. Ended our day with full Mexican limits of yellowtail 4 dorado 3 skipjack. Conditions should improve with a few days of good weather.
