Boat limits of Dorado, 9 Yellowfin, 2 Skipjack and a Yellowtail made up our 5-5 Charter. Fun times!!

1 bluefin tuna 97 yellowtail. The consistency of the Coronado Islands this year is truly amazing. Bait, yo yo and surface iron are all producing.

Today we had a good morning hit on the Tuna and Yellowtail. We were able to fill in the cracks for the people who still needed Tuna and also be selective for the larger models. After that we spent the day working up. picking up a few more Wahoo, Grouper, and larger Yellowtail . We will be focusing on Yellowtail tomorrow.

Captain Mike Pritchard called in this evening with an update from the Tribute. Today we had limits of Lingcod with many of them over 20 pounds. The jackpot fish should be around 30 pounds. We also had limits of rockfish including some very nice reds. We did catch some nice whitefish too.The Tribute is running 1.5 day trips to Colonett every weekend departing on Friday nights. Had a great morning bite this morning! We did so well that we decided to take a scenic tour of the island to give the people a look. Tomorrow we may try for tuna but we will also try to mix it up with some yellowtail!

Captain Mike Pritchard checked in with an final wrap-up from the Tribute out of Seaforthl.  Today we had 27 bluefin (1 shy of limits) 2 yellowfin (first of the season) and 16 yellowtail for our 14 anglers today in flat calm weather.

Strong south wind made things interesting today but we’re able to find a lucky kelp in the bottom of the ninth. We managed our quota of green dorado and 16 yellowtail.
