hit the lake today, was partly cloudy but nice. got a couple of smallmouth bass, around 2-3lbs each. used a white jig and they were all over it. super chill day, plus i threw in some fishing for relaxation. can't wait to go back!
cloudy but warmer today! finally got 8 good-sized trout on the fly rod. they were hitting the dry flies like crazy! love when they jump outta the water... epic fight! made me forget the rain we had before. what a blast.
ugh, what a chilly day for fishing, patchy rain and all. only managed to hook one tiny perch. was using a live bait rig but felt like the fish just weren't biting. still nice to be out on the water tho, just gonna have to try again when it's warmer.
heavy rain today made it tough to fish, but i braved it! caught a decent 3lb pike using a spinner. the wind was a bit strong too, but it didn’t bother me that much. only got a couple more bites, but i guess that's fishing! can't wait for clear skies.
finally got a break from the rain! hit the lake with my buddy, clear skies n all. we trolled with some crankbaits and bam, caught 5 nice salmon. the biggest was over 6lbs! water was warm n the fish were hungry. made it a great day out on the lake.
