mo Fishing Report 2024

Hello everyone, Today we targeted Yellowtail along the Baja coast. The numbers were not what we wanted but we were able to tag some Yellows and good grade bottom fish while we looked around. Today was the furthest south we could have possibly fished on this 3 day, so tomorrow we will fish offshore closer to home. Wish us luck, Team Supreme

Mike Pritchard called in from the Tribute with this report. "We have 35 Bluefin for this stop and we're right around 60 for the day. Yellowtail fishing has been very good as well. We're at about 100 on the Yellowtail and a few Dorado. The Bluefin is up to about 70 lbs. A lot of the the is in the 15 to 25 lb. range. We still have some daylight left, we'll keep you posted.

We are still seeing plenty of yellowtail at the Coronado Islands. Our counts for the past week have been anywhere from 3 to 48 yellowtail per trip. It seems like if you get around the right school at the right time they will bite. We have seen schools at just about every spot at the islands. Today we went out with 28 passengers and caught 12 yellows. The biggest fish today was a 36 pounder caught on a fly lined sardine. Most of our fish have been in the 20 pound class and have been taken on fly lined sardines on 25 lb. and yo-yo jigs on 40 lb. The weather has been absolutely perfect. We are running everyday. Polaris Supreme Trip Report 08-25-2016 Good afternoon. We just departed on the Sadie Hawkins Ladies Charter, however they are joined by a few men. We've been excited to get this trip underway to watch the ladies finally out number the guys and show their skills. We had the pleasure of meeting Charter Head Bev Seltzer during boat work and it looks like she brought a ell equipped group of anglers with her this year. We would also like to send a very special thanks to Joe Beck for hosting yet another year of the annual Bob Vance 5 day trip. Although Bob hasn't joined us in a few years, we're still proud to have his name on the trip. As always, the guys fished hard and were rewarded with a really nice catch on some yellowfin and bluefin tuna. The top guys on the list with the jackpot fish were: taking the number 1 spot, "Team Nevada" Tom Christianson with an impressive 96 lb bluefin, second spot was Damon Cassell with a 76 lb yellowfin tuna and rounding out this trips jackpot was also "team Nevada" Dan burns with a 75 lb yellowfin. Good morning everyone! Still battling some very very rough seas! We should be into Ensenada on time this afternoon and definitely will not be doing any fishing today. Looking forward to getting out of this weather probably by 2 o'clock or 3 o'clock this afternoon. It looks like the next trip Vernon's guys will have a nice ride down to Guadalupe on their five day. Nothing to do today but breakdown tackle and do a few boat projects.

Long time friend, crewmen, passenger, and father Dave Dunham passed away earlier this year. His daughter Julia picked off a beautiful Yellowfin Tuna to start off the morning Hope you are proudly looking down smiling today Dave.

Saturday April 13

We arrived at Hurricane Bank at 4pm and started fishing. The seven anglers on board landed 29 wahoo by dusk. After dinner they went back out for an evening bite that lasted until 3am and picked up 27 tuna ranging from 90 - 198 lbs. Three that were estimated over 200 lbs were lost. There is lots of life around here and our weather is really great. Richie is keeping a detailed daily log and will post it when we start back home.
