ugh today was terrible! heavy rain made it impossible to fish. we tried for a bit but ended up just sitting in the truck, laughing and waiting for it to stop. one day i’ll get a break and catch some nice fish, just not today i guess!
fished all day today and it was cloudy and cool. hooked into a few decent bass but lost one that was a monster! used a spinnerbait which worked well, but man the wind was a pain. didn’t get skunked tho, so that’s a win in my book!
so today wasn’t the greatest... overcast and windy made it kinda tough. i only managed to catch a few dinky bluegills on a bobber setup. still, being out there is way better than workin’. i’ll take what i can get until the sun comes back out!
went fishing again yesterday, another nice partly cloudy day! bagged a couple smallmouths near the rocks, 2-3lbs each, using a green plastic worm. caught them right at sunset, what a beautiful view it was! gotta love the evenings out here.
had a solid day on the lake, partly cloudy and warm. caught several panfish and a couple nice crappies, all on jigs. water was really calm, I just love this weather for fishing! took home some fillets too, gonna fry em up for dinner!
