fished the Grand River this morning, was kinda cloudy but not too bad, temp was nice around 21Β°C. I went with my buddy James and we were after some walleye. used jigs with minnows and we had some luck! I caught 3 in about an hour, all nice-sized, best one was around 24 inches. we had some wind though, made it tricky to hold the boat steady. but all in all, a good day! we saw some flies buzzing around, looked like they were hatching so that could explain the fish being a bit picky. packed up around noon, still a fun time out there!
