metropark Fishing Report 2024

Things definitely slowed down today! You can tell it's on the downswing. If a guy works at it though he could put together a day if you stay with it! Took off from the island heading to Ensenada early and our weather is definitely snotty to say the least! Should be in late tomorrow afternoon Friday, and on time into San Diego on Saturday morning. Looking forward to having Vernon and the boys out on their annual five day charter to Guadalupe Island! Don't have much more to say just hanging on trying to stay in my chair and not fly out of the wheelhouse.

Hey guys we have caught 3 yellowtail 24-28 lbs. out of our first couple stops this morning. I will keep you posted. We will be fishing U.S. waters all week $75 and a California fishing license is all you need. 619-224-3383 for reservations. Ask for the San Diego!

We are underway in gorgeous weather. Our bait we picked up at the receiver is perfect 6-8 " sardines. We have eight anglers on board. George, Craig, Al, Bobby, Scott, Sheridan, Tom, and Roger. Our crew is Captains tommy, Drew and Kevin. Our deck crew is Mike, Dave and Perry, and our chef is Javier. All the boys are napping right now after a delicious chicken breast with plum sauce for lunch. We will be traveling for at least two days before we start fishing, so don't expect anything but naps, rigging and food reports for the next few days. Hope you all had a great Christmas!

Hello everyone, Today we departed on our Hess 8 day charter. With a nice load of bait we are headed south. Our 8 day charter this year is a celebration of life and dedication to Shane Maynard who we lost September 13 and Bob Snyder who passed away may 30th both were the type of friend everyone should be: fun, honest, generous, and humble. Neither wanted to be the center of attention, but always the rock, dependable, reliable, solid. Both loved our trip as a highlight of the year. Part of them will always be on the Supreme. Sadly missed but never forgotten. Our love to Shelly and Diane. Will report again tomorrow, Team Supreme

83 years of good living paid off for San Diego regular Al Kish with this Limit of quality Bluefin. We landed 10 bluefin. 8 at 70 lbs 1 at 85 lbs and 1 at 130.

We just got a report from the San Diego out of Seaforth Sportfishing in Mission Bay.    We have 40 Yellowtail on the boat so far today for our 37 anglers. Check out the our latest photo from yesterday!

Capt Ryan Bostain called in from the San Diego, they headed offshore again however the tuna were not willing to bite. We spent most of the day in pursuit of tuna and ended they day with 12 mixed tuna, which was 9 Bluefin Tuna and 3 Yellowfin. We decided to start looking for kelp fish later in the day and found some willing Yellowtail, the final tally was 130. They were not huge, mostly from 7 to 12 pounds, plenty good enough for the many beginners to offshore fishing. We are going to stick with thhisa offshore fishing for a while, to get on a trip call the landing at 619-224-3383 or you can book your spot online.
