man, it poured today. tried to fish but it was just too heavy. actually lost my favorite lure in the rain somewhere out there. didn’t catch anything, but the scenery was still beautiful. maybe next time will be better.
you’d think the rain would ruin my day but nope! got a few bites and even caught a nice 3 lb bass! used my favorite chatterbait in the shallow end. wind was something serious though, but the fish were biting, can’t complain.

was out at the lake today, super windy! caught a nice 6lb walleye with a deep-diving crankbait near the rocks. the overcast sky helped the bite, had my gear ready for it all day. just love being out on the water.
well, not the best day fishing at melvern lake. the rain hit hard and i barely got a bite. ended up catching a single channel catfish but that was it. packed up early, soaked to the bone, but gotta love the outdoors anyway.
